Summary
Techno collapses as the electricity courses through his veins, a scream stuck in his throat.
He can vaguely feel his captor’s presence coming closer, and he curls into a ball to the best of his ability as soon as the limpness of his limbs wears off. He forces his hands over the back of his neck, tucks his head, and is rewarded with being right in his instincts -- the primary handler, he presumes, kicks the middle of his back, sending a painful jolt through his spine.
Techno is dragged back to his cell unceremoniously by the back of his hoodie, and even when he’s been thrown inside, his captor continues to assault him.
Or, Techno is abducted by aliens, and then adopted by aliens. This goes.. somewhat well?

Humans were never supposed to travel the vast greatness of space. The biology and psychology of a human just wasn’t built for it. This was a lesson the Drean learned quickly. Even with their experiments to try and make human life spans last longer it never worked until they tried combining other DNA to the mix. Phamton, Dreans, Spidarons, even Pigmen and Endirians were all rejected by humans, causing their body to reject the blood, leading them to a long, painful death, or just simply killing them instantly with a short scream and sleep. With many experiments and scanning, they finally found a race whose DNA was similar enough to a human’s that it didn’t die immediately
The Elytrian
Tommy was tired. After leaving (it was an escape, where no one but him survived) the ship he was first abducted from, and finding a new crew, he never stopped having nightmares. His time on the other ship wasn’t that bad, not enough to elicit this response to his dumb brain anyway, no matter what Tubbo says. He was fine, just tired and if that excuse was enough for an annoying ass Wilbur to get off his back, then that’s what he’s sticking to.
Or Tommy has to deal with the lasting results of some not so failed experiments.

Clicking on the link, he started to fill out the form. There were some normal questions, like age and occupation and some a bit weirder ones like blood type or how ok he would be with alternative methods of drawing blood. That one was weird.
At one place it even straight out said if he would be ok with being bit in the arm.
So, his future employer was a vampire, cool.
At the end he had to sign a declaration of confidentiality that said he would not disclose what happened at the job.
Well, that was weird.
Now he was actually starting to think the person was a vampire.

It wasn’t that Tommy needed Technoblade to like him, no. But he really did see his human crewmate as a friend, preferably as a brother, but it's hard for him to tell whether Techno cares about him sometimes. The two of them end up going on a parts run together, but they end up caught in a severe snowstorm, which crashes the ship.
That wouldn't be too bad, except for Tommy is a reptilian alien, so being cold-blooded in a snowstorm is his worst nightmare. Prior experience with other crews has told Tommy that he can't expect anyone else to try and save him, not when it puts their own life at risk, but Techno may just surprise him.
