Summary
Somewhere in New Mexico, Stanley Pines is murdered.
A few minutes later, he wakes up on the floor of the most Murder Hut looking cabin he's ever seen, in Oregon.
Meanwhile, Stanford Pines finds himself abruptly in what looks like a crime scene, just an hour before Bill's deadline to turn on the portal.
Honestly, that's no longer his biggest concern.

Summary
Bill has been locked inside the Theraprism for what seemed like eternity. Being his stubborn self, he refused to change, in addition making it everyone else's problem.
That was until the Axolotl took matters into their own hands, and decided to sent Bill back to Earth as a last resort to redeem himself. His task was to make amends with those who he hurt the most—that was the plan, at least.
It might have been possible, if only Bill had stumbled upon one of the Pines. Instead, a strange young girl chose to take care of him, resulting in further chaos.

Summary
Fiddleford McGucket loves his wife. He loves his son. He’s got a truck, a house, a plan, a project— but there is something distinctly... missing. Stanford Pines is finally free. There is nothing tying him down, he has his own home, a grant that keeps him funded, and research that keeps coming— but a lack of human companionship is something even his muse cannot quite provide.
Fidd jumps at the opportunity to assist an old friend when Ford finally calls him after years of nothing but letters. In a Shack away from prying eyes, with the companionship of someone that interacting with comes so easily, it is just as easy to fall back into old habits for better or for worse. As much as Ford adores his old friend, he doesn’t trust he won’t be misconstrued as a madman should the truth come out, and as much as Fiddleford is willing to open his eyes and try new things he can tell there is something very wrong with this idea he is helping Ford accomplish. "Impossible Year" follows the events of Fiddleford’s year with a “visiting researcher” and Ford’s writings of inventing the portal with his assistant, F. From the mundane moments of grocery shopping and pulling gnome hair from machinery, to the portal incident and the aftermath.

Summary
(Spoilers for ‘What we could be’ series, see notes)
In an alternate universe, Bill is ready to shake Stan’s hand, thinking it’s Ford, when something changes. That's because a human Bill from a different universe is trying to find a world in which Ford is with him and loves him back, despite Bill still acting manipulative and possessive and all of that. Of course, having ALSO his powers would be the best outcome, so this is what he tries first – changing the narrative to him noticing the difference and him wanting a relationship with Ford. And of course, it doesn't work out, so Bill abandons it and tries a different world.
But what exactly happened here, then?!

Summary
“I can’t hurt your family, huh? You’re clever Fordsy, that’s why I like you so much!” Bill dissolved the triangular cage surrounding Ford and Stan, and Stan dashed to sweep up Dipper and Mabel protectively. Bill caught Ford in a waist dip, “You know how I love a little ‘will-they-won’t-they-destroy-the-world’ in a galactic takeover!”
In a moment of quick thinking, Ford Pines has tricked Bill into a deal that protects his family from Bill's wrath. Stan Pines tries to balance keeping it together for the kids, protecting a hostage Ford, and beating Bill at his mind games.
As for Bill Cipher, well, the demon can't for the life of him figure why everyone thinks he's actually in love with his former science partner. It's a joke, guys!

Summary
"Problem is, all the equations for the logistics of making the portal, the blueprints, and the outlines for actually making the portal are finished. Except, well, Ford has never been very good at engineering. He always stuck to algebra and physics and science and whatnot— and he's worried he'll disappoint his Muse if he tries and fails to build it."
OR
Ford has been slacking off with the construction of the portal lately. Then he dares ask about bringing someone else into the project. It doesn't really go over with Bill very well.

Summary
Sixer was so easy to manipulate, and it all was because of the man’s deep seeded fear of loneliness. He would do anything to ensure that he didn’t end up alone. Heck, his whole motivation for starting his research in the first place was so he could be remembered. Yet now, because that stupid red neck had finally had enough of it all and called it quits, his puppet was having second thoughts about their project. And Bill just couldn’t have that. So Sixer didn’t want to be alone, did he? Well, he could make sure that he would never be alone again, if it meant that Ford would finally finish what they’d begun………
TLDR; Bill realises that Ford is considering abandoning the portal, so he babytraps him.

Let me tell you the tragic tale of a fanchild I made as a joke. It’s not a joke anymore.
Bianca was destined for greatness, that Bill and Ford knew as her parents. But what they hadn’t expected, was that they would move back to Gravity Falls— a dangerous town that contained anomalies which were the reason they left to California in the first place. Though, there was another risk. The risk of Bianca uncovering something she never was supposed to.
Also, if you love BillFord, this AU is for you.
