Each chapter follows a prompt from the June of Doom 2026 challenge as Hare endures captivity and the slow erosion of his sense of self.
Glad steals Hare away to Hinterland, a harsh, unpredictable wilderness. Hare is shackled inside an isolated cabin and forced to be Glad’s “Muse”. Hare clings to the only comfort he has left: the memory of Hatter.
Meanwhile, Hatter searches the vast Hinterland with single‑minded determination, to find Hare and bring him home.
This gets dark and Hare really isn't in for a good time.Series

Waking up in an unfamiliar flannel shirt on a thin mattress is a nightmare, but the iron cuff around Sage’s ankle makes it reality.
