So why can't he get that whale song out of his head? I makes him sick thinking about going to that cursed place, yet a very small part in him really want to go and see if it really was something his mind made up or if he's real.

Below him, a lifeless corpse, knuckles bloody and worn; the pesky avian panting over it. Blood pooled, staining Grian’s shoes. He stepped over the corpse of someone he didn’t recognize, towards the cliff of his hilled home. One step. Two. His wings fluttered uselessly against the wind, soaking in his final breath.

Grian goes missing during his time in the Evolution SMP. Mumbo is left with no idea of what happened to his boyfriend. A year after his last contact with Grian, he arrives on the Hermitcraft server in critical condition, and for some reason, with wings that Mumbo is 90% sure weren’t there before. What’s more is he refuses to talk about what happened. It only gets worse after a portion of the server goes missing, with Grian seemingly being the only one who remembers anything about it. One moment Grian was walking over the street, searching for some place that he could get food from. The next the was laying on a bed in a medical room on a spaceship surrounded by weird looking people.
One of the people there offers him a job in exchange for a roof above his head, food and all the pleasure that he could ever want.
At first Grian isn't sure about the whole situation, but the hermits grow on him pretty quickly.

Summary
Grian has a lot on their plate. They're working towards an architecture degree during the night, and during the day they have a job, hobbies, and a friend group they try their best to keep up with. And on top of all that, they're also a vigilante in what little time they have in between. They're on the run from law enforcement and a mysterious cult, all while their superhero rival seems obsessed with them.
Scar is trying his best. Being wheelchair-bound isn't the most common experience as a superhero, and he has lofty dreams of reforming the villains the agency is arresting. However, he's seen as young and inexperienced, still in college working towards becoming a veterinarian. He intends on showing everyone his dreams can be real, and he sees the perfect vigilante to reform for the project.
These stories, as well as many others in Hermit City, are intertwined.

Summary
Gem has never been lucky enough to enjoy an easy life. Joining hermitcraft changed that, the sever providing a place of comfort and safety, where she could practice her magic without fear of her past or the beings that had hunted her. Her half-brother Grian had introduced her, and the two of them were close together in their current world.
Gem had been starting to relax into this new realm until something new awakened on the server in Grian’s base and old memories begin to surface. Gem begins to remember events that no one else saw, and it seems like something evil is growing underneath Hermitcraft.
The final straw is when hermits begin to go missing again, and more then lives are at stake when old magic begins to surface.
Gem finds herself somewhere she shouldn't be, and she doesn't know if she can bring herself to do what is necessary for everyone else.
