Summary

The end of it all wasn't quiet, it was filled with the screams of friends and enemies alike. Humanity though, has a strange way of persisting despite it all.
It's been nearly two years since the world ended. Simon has been banished from the only safe place he's known through it all. When he's rescued by a strange nerd and his blind friend, he really thinks he might just be doomed. With one less arm and no real plan, he decides to stick with them as they trek across the remains of the country in search of a place called Erid, all the while doing their best to stay alive and find out what in the world is left to fight for.

“Feel like givin’ in yet?” Zanka murmurs into his ear as he leans down, his voice slithering its way down his spine the way Jabber imagines silk would, if he’d ever felt it.
“‘Course not,” he answers easily, harshly smothering a shiver as Zanka places a firm hand on his neck, sliding it up to his head to press his face harder into the ground. When he tries pushing against the hold, he’s met with Zanka’s unforgiving grip, and heat slips down to between his thighs like the horrible thing it is. He can’t move, and that’s bad, obviously, but he’s so warm, so hazy, so gooey that he doesn’t think he’d move even if he could. Zanka was just—just so strong, so unyielding, so impossible to ignore that Jabber feels like he can’t breathe.
“Thought so.” He sighs dreamily. “That’s what makes ya so perfect for me.” His voice is so soft, almost reverent, as he speaks, and it makes what he does next all the more staggering.
In a swift yet brutal yank, he dislocates Jabber’s shoulder.
Jabber manages to run from his "problems", but only for a little while.

DC x Marvel: Interdimensional was a Discord roleplay server organized and hosted in early 2026 and was the first foray into this specific crossover AU. Inspired by the events that took place in the server, it is now its very own fic. Following the format of my last server to fic work, each day will be one work, and they'll all be made into a series if/when this is finished!
On the first day, a handful of heroes (and a certain villain) stumble across the anomaly. As time passes, however, they will start to discover more about the rift's characteristics and what could have caused such a thing to occur.

“That is definitely why we crashed.” Van added.
Relief hit first, warm and dizzying. Jackie let herself smile wider, leaning into it.
“I mean. Jeff’s not bad, but damn. Right?” She asked the girls as laughter grew louder.
She watched their reactions closely, always watching. The way laughter rippled through the group felt like oxygen, like proof she still belonged here. That she could still make them laugh, still be the girl people wanted around. Humor had always been her safest currency. Say the thing first, control the tone, don’t let anyone look too closely.
