It all comes crashing down when Saburo Arasaka travels all the way from Japan to meet his son at the Konpeki Plaza on the same night two mercs raid the suite looking for a piece of tech. As Yorinobu-sama’s personal bodyguard, V is sent to deal with the intruders while the heir investigates his father’s mysterious death by poisoning.
In the penthouse, V fights off the thieves, but everything stops when one of his opponents finally sees his face and freezes. It seems like this merc, which V recognizes as Kerry Eurodyne, one of the top dogs of the Afterlife, knows him. Strange thing is, V is sure they’ve never met. Not in this lifetime, at least.
Using V’s distraction over the eerie meeting, Eurodyne disarms him and makes his escape with his accomplice, but not without leaving a plea against V’s lips: come to The Afterlife.Series

Johnny’s stopped looking for casual docks, and he and Kerry sleep together more often than not, even on nights when they don’t fuck. When he realises he hasn’t fucked anyone else in nearly a month, Johnny panics. They’re getting borderline domestic—they still have separate apartments, but he’s got shit at Kerry’s and vice versa—they’re starting to feel like a couple.
He goes on another three-day bender, holing up in a hotel room with a bunch of joytoys and a lot of Lace. Kerry almost punches him in the face when he gets back.
‘You fucking asshole! I’m fucking used to you disappearing for a few days every once in a while but I thought we were past you doing it without even telling me. Fuck’s sake, Johnny, I was worried fucking sick! Don’t you ever do that to me again, you hear me?’
Kerry stops for a breath, turns away and hugs himself. ‘Selfish prick, I could fucking strangle you,’ he mutters. Then he glances at Johnny again, and Johnny’s not sure what it is he sees, but Kerry lowers his arms, takes a hesitant step toward him, then closes the distance, puts his arms around him and hugs him.

This story was inspired by the thought of Prince William of Wales (and indeed the current Max von Hapsburg) studying at the University of St Andrews; it is also, as the title suggests, at least a little inspired by the operetta 'The Student Prince'.

Fluff. I often let Lestrade take the emotional lead--even if he's not the experienced player on the gay team, he seems likely to be the more experienced player in total, and by far the more at ease with romance. But there are good reasons to play it the other way around a bit. So this story mixes it up a little. Mycroft may not be a pillar of swaggering male confidence, but he's definitely a bit more together about this than Lestrade...poor behbehs.

"You're smiling," Yusuf says, blinking.
"Yes," Arthur agrees. "People do that sometimes."
"People do, yes," Yusuf says. "You, on the other hand…have we won a case that I don't know about?"
"If we have, it's new to me too."
"Did you win the lottery?" Yusuf presses. "Did you get laid? You're making me nervous, Arthur."
Arthur laughs. "Sorry, I didn't realize it would be unsettling."
"You laughed," Yusuf says, stunned. Then a knowing look enters his eyes, and he lowers his voice conspiratorially. "There's someone under the desk, isn't there?"
"What?" Arthur--well, he doesn't quite shriek it, but it's a close thing. "No, of course not, why would you--"
"You can tell me," Yusuf says quickly. "I'm very discreet, I know how these things can happen.""Look," Arthur says on Monday morning, "look, I know you don't really know me at all, but I need you to do me a favor."
Eames eyes the box in Arthur's hands with trepidation. "If you're going to ask me to fill that box with coffee, I have to warn you that I think the cardboard will taint the flavor somewhat."
"When I'm stressed out," Arthur says hurriedly, "I bake things. And I just--yesterday I, um. I went a little overboard."
"That must have been some serious stress," he says, staring.
"Hmm," Eames says. He reaches into the closest Ziplock bag and pulls out a brownie, breaking off a corner and popping it in his mouth.
"Arthur," Eames says. "What the fuck is in these?"
"This is the best brownie I have ever had," Eames says. His eyes are still closed and he takes another huge bite, talking with his mouth full. Arthur should really, really find that disgusting. "Seriously, how did you do this?"
"I, uh," Arthur says. "I think that's the batch with coffee in it, but I'm not--"
"Oh, fuck, fuck, I am going to make so much money today," Eames says. -

Sherlock snapped. Or was about to. John felt as much as saw Sherlock's body tense beside him in a way that he instinctively felt was very, very bit not good. Indeed, verbal evisceration on a wide scale was imminent. Possibly people would not survive.
John sighed. In one motion, he yanked on Sherlock's arm, pulling the stiff and enraged detective around and against him, raised himself on his toes, put a hand on the back of Sherlock's neck and pulled him into a kiss. It was not a long kiss, but it was openly sexual and clearly involved a liberal, expert and familiar use of tongue.
For a moment Sherlock was too shocked to respond, and then the energy in his body shifted from outrage to possession. He grabbed John around the waist and pulled him closer, returning the kiss with obvious tongue of his own. From downstairs came the faint sound of a moan.
When they broke apart there was a silence in the room that felt like a communal breath-holding ceremony. It was so quiet that the words John spoke carried well, even though they were said with a quiet determination. "There," John said. "Taken. Exceedingly taken. Clear?"
John turned on his heel and shoved his way past Lestrade and Anderson into the bedroom.
Sherlock Holmes followed slowly. Well, strolled, really. There was a smug smile on his face and a gleam in his eye that said, "Oh, I am brilliant."

“Yeah, that’s what I said. I hate to think what hell that stuff is wreaking on his system right now, it’s not designed to work with Beta physiology. It’s not going to do any permanent damage of course, but it doesn’t sound comfortable in the meantime.”
“He’s three months in on this posting and he takes it now?” Phil says, working around a point. It doesn’t taste good in his mouth. “He didn’t bring it, so where did he get it?”
“That’s the million dollar question isn’t it.” Dr Matthews says. “My bet is, we’ve got an Omega on site somewhere, without their meds.”
Clint has been suppressing for as long as he can remember. It's no big deal, he has it under control. It's just that when he was a kid there wasn't anyone around to tell him how this was supposed to go, with nowhere safe to let go and deal with the heat it was easier to ignore it altogether. It's always possible to get hold of suppressants on the street. He's got dealers on speed dial and a routine. In fact, he's gotten so good at this he has everyone convinced he's a Beta with an attitude problem, including Phil Coulson.But it all goes to shit when some dickwad steals his pills.
