Summary
What makes up a person? The atoms of their body? The people that surround them, the company they keep? Their opinions and memories? Their likes and dislikes? Their name and date of birth? It could be any of those things depending on who is being asked, alone or in combination. It could be all of those things together.
Courtland Gentry wakes up wet, scared and naked on a fishing boat in the dead of night. Not knowing who he is, where he is and why he's there, he's not even sure he'd call himself a person in the first place. Paranoia and fear, the urge to overcome the mystery of his own existence, drive him across Europe in a mad chase for information and identity. If they truly are hiding that he is an omega then they are doing an admirable job of it. Especially considering the scent of him that had had Dunk fighting hard not to bristle.

Summary
Shane's always been a bit of a dog with a bone.
The man had once tried explaining it to him. Said that it was like having a song stuck in his head, the same chorus repeating until he finally played it out loud - until he verbalized the thought or followed through on the idea. Rick had admired this relentless pursuit often, had praised his friend's dogged nature when it was due but maybe that had been wrong. Maybe he'd been too lenient, too reliant on Shane doing the roughing up. Had become too relaxed and used to Shane's ways to notice the signs of his nature morphing into something else.
He's certainly noticing it now.

Summary
This man is a bully. This is his first impression of Captain Paddy Mayne.
Though, that is not necessarily true.
His first, first impression is, well, that this man is slight. He’s slight, and unkempt – the latter of which he attributes to the harsh living conditions of the desert and the former of which amuses him to an extent.
Now, being the learned man that he is, he knows that looks can be deceiving, that he should be above judging a man before they’ve even spoken. And yet, nothing about Mayne strikes him as particularly threatening. And then - then the man opens his mouth and Augustin knows he's in way over his head.(or: What if Augustin stuck around and what if there's more to Paddy Mayne than his overt aggression)
