Summary
After the mountain Jaskier needs to throw himself into something that isn't just singing and travelling, something that will allow him to avoid Geralt and stinging wound of what was clearly a rejection, so he starts teaching at the University of Oxenfurt. While in Oxenfurt, he stumbles into helping a few elves out of the city. Then he does it again - more purposefully this time. He starts working as the Sandpiper. As his network grows, Jaskier starts saving more than just elves and he eventually catches wind of a captured Witcher. Despite his lingering anger towards Geralt, he knows that he has to help.

Summary
Jaskier's time in the world of witchers has come to an end.
And as he journeys through the continent, the things he sees are monstrous. Gone is the time of adventure and tales of mighty deeds.
Now there's death lingering everywhere, and songs don't seem to be enough.
Jaskier delves deep into the ancestral world of the elves, where ancient tales may be the answer to many prayers. There, the bard finds a storyteller and restless spirits. As willing or not as they are to help, they may lead him to find the answers to end the ancient evils they face.
Meanwhile, in a tangled web of events, the witchers of the School of the Wolf stumble upon a crossroads. There a princess and a sorceress await, where they see the world around them crumble. The search for Jaskier begins amidst a war no one is sure how it will turn out. But, the answers they seek may lie in the past and the future they're too afraid to acknowledge.
But one thing is clear: their bard stands in the middle of it all.
And perhaps the only thing that will decide their odds is their willingness to open their hearts and see beyond the path.

Summary
Jaskier's carefully crafted life as a bard turned spy is uprooted in an instant when his family finally decides that he is no longer disowned now that they have a use for him. When back in Lettenhove, he finds out that his father has put out a warrant for him. He has finally found a use for his bastard son. As it turns out that use is sending him as part of a tribute to the Warlord of the North. All of them under the impression he won't walk out of that place alive, Jaskier is determined to survive in anyway he can.
The first of a series I'm starting. Your classic Tribute Jaskier becomes the warlord's husband and dearly loved bard. With some bumps along the way :) Very slow burn...

Geralt is Jaskier's life partner. Whether that's platonically, as fuck buddies, or some kind of romantic relation doesn't matter. Jaskier follows Geralt for decades through heartbreak and laughter and love and despair. He'll follow the witcher for decades more as long as he's allowed to.
This is their story through the decades, Jaskier's character growth into the bard who aids nonhumans, and all the little moments in between.

Geralt was still a relatively new witcher, just five years on the Path, when this rumour appeared, and he was not naïve enough to fall for such fodder.
All witchers had yellow eyes. This was a given. None of the witcher schools had the exact same mutagens. Every school was slightly different, imbuing their witchers with the characteristics of the wild beast they represented – the cat witchers, with their purring, and the bears, with their excessive body hair – but all witchers had yellow eyes. That was how it was. That was how the mutagens worked. That was how a witcher could be recognised.

Jaskier's five the first time he shifts, stumbling over a branch and caught by gentle hands that become paws a few moments later. He's so entranced by The Lord's shape that he doesn't realise his own has followed until The Lord turns and pads away and he scrambles to follow, finding too many legs and too few arms. Finding extra limbs along his back as his wings flare for balance, and The Lord returns with an amused huff and picks him up by the scruff of his neck.

Redhead’s eyes widen comically as they finally snap to Jaskier’s. He quickly takes control of his expression, squinting at Jaskier as he bares his teeth. “Who the fuck do you think it is,” the man growls, slight color making its way to his freckled cheeks.
Jaskier’s brows furrow. That sounds like they should know each other, but Jaskier doesn’t recall anyone with such looks, maybe except for—
“Lambert?” he squeaks out, nearly falling off the bench.
