(Takes place post-Construct in the There Are No Endings ending, with references to the routes Happily Ever After and Den. Also, HEA is referred to as Songbird, as Shifty calls her.)

Summary
This is a particularly indulgent piece, combining two of my favorite video games, Destiny 2 and Slay the Princess, and being centered around two of my favorite characters from their respective games, the Witness and the Shifting Mound. They are very dear to me on an individual level and even more so when together, so I decided to explore their relationship (and some of the Vessels) through creating a raid. That being said, I think there is something to be gained from this piece even if you are not a fan of one of these games. The Shifting Mound has come to inhabit the Witness' decrepit Monolith after its defeat and seeks to bring back the Guardians' greatest foe in an improved, perfected shape. As for her motivation, I suppose you will have to see for yourselves. This entry includes six raid encounters, one with each of the Vessels and a final one against Shifty herself, all bearing a name, an objective and an mechanics explanation and exploration. It also includes a bunch of lore entries for the items that would be found within the raid. The raid mechanics section is not vital to understanding the lore entries and vice versa, although they are meant to compliment each other. I hope you enjoy and thank you for reading.

Summary
It’s been quite some time since the vessels were separated from the shifting mound, actualized into their own people. They aren’t humans still, but they are no longer just vessels.
Fury is surprised but grateful for how much effort the others put into involving her- even if she suspects it’s from pity. But something has started eating at her more and more with every day.
The other exceptions to their new lives in the castle Ever woke up in (but claims is too large and too perfect for them all to be hers) don’t bother her except for Den, who nobody has heard from. Not even Wild, who is the woods they are surrounded by.
Everyone else is dismissive or wary about approaching Den. Even Beast fears her animalistic tendencies, the kindest princesses don’t want to insert themselves and some of the others talk like she’s a feral stray despite knowing better- despite knowing she’s one of them. It doesn’t sit right with her.
So much so that she’s here, staring down the maw of a cavern.
Aka rare pair yuri born of being obsessed with den and finding an account obsessed with fury and putting some similarities together and getting consumed by the thought.

Having met with intense resistance to their attempts to save the kidnapped uni students, Etienne and her companions were forced to confront the truth of the matter; This wasn't going to end with a single rescue mission. The mirrors, the shards, the constructs, they were made by someone, distributed with purpose, and used with violent intent. Running wouldn't solve the problem, and it would barely even soothe it.
No, this whole charade needed to be brought down, before anyone else could be dragged into it.
And perhaps, now, they finally had enough people on their side to make a dent in such a mountainous task. Perhaps they could make a difference, if they put their heads together. They had to try, before the city became too cold to bear.
It was time to end it, one way or another.
