Loki rimase spiazzato. Cosa voleva dire?
« Se continui ad ignorarli presto prenderanno il sopravvento. E finirai per soccombere alla parte più oscura di te. » continuò lei osservandolo attentamente.
Loki si sentì morire. Piuttosto che rivivere tutto quello che aveva passato si sarebbe fatto uccidere da Thanos mille e altre mille volte.
Non era pronto per affrontare tutto di nuovo. Il suo passato stava tornando per chiedergli la resa dei conti.
Sarebbe stato in grado di affrontarlo? -

Loki felt himself dying. Rather than relive everything he had been through he would have let Thanos kill him a thousand and one more times.
He was not ready to face it all again. His past was coming back to demand a reckoning, and he was not ready.

“Valkyrie, I thought that…” Thor met them with a smile, lighting up the space between them with his seemingly endless optimism. His hair had grown out long again, opposing the Thor that he had seen on the film reel of Thanos’ ship. This Thor had both of his eyes, albeit one of them being fake. This Thor looked happy. Yet at the sight of Loki, his smile faltered, the light flickering out. He took a tiny step back, his face aghast.
“Loki?” He whispered, as if he were afraid of the word. Of his name.
He couldn’t help the water that began to well up in his eyes. He stepped forward.
“The sun has finally risen, brother.”

When Loki finally receives the chance to make visits on the timelines, he chooses to go to New Asgard, where he no longer feels at home. But this is his chance for the sun to shine on him and his brother. And, just maybe, it will shine for him and Mobius too.

Except that Professor Loki seems to know suspiciously much about the universe. His brother looks like a Norse god who wandered out of a saga. And his wife's colleague, Mobius, is such an ordinary man that it begins to feel suspicious.

After all, this family could not possibly have anything to do with the Loki of Asgard, who attacked New York in 2012.Loki has been granted a second life - a quiet, domestic existence in Nottingham. Sometimes the future is shown, so they can prevent bad things from happening, and other times they react to the past to learn from their mistakes. In one moment the heroes watch happy and embarrassing scenes, in the other they find out more about the dark pasts and truth from each other.
The purpose of all this is avoiding a universal conflict to take place.
Will they have learned their lesson and be able to change the future or is it already too late?
Or, the avengers and co react to scenes to prevent a multiversal catastrophe. Chaos (and trauma) ensues.

Steve had explained his plan to Bucky - it made perfect sense. Return the stones and live out a full, quiet life in the past. Anyone else would have protested, but Bucky understood. If anyone deserved a little peace after all they'd been through, it was Steve Rogers.
He had, however, omitted a few important details. A few burglaries here, an act of treason there, and then there's the whole plot to stop Bucky ever getting on that train in the Alps.
Like that one Scottish poet said, and like most things in the good captain's long life, the best laid plans often go awry. And this one just so happens to cause fallout that ripples across a multiverse that shouldn't exist.

In another universe, flowers bloom and rot simultaneously. Corpses roam the streets beside the living, trapped in their own minds, spirits unable to move on. Watches don’t tick. Children don’t grow up. Everything is perfectly, eerily still. Wars never break out, and Tony Stark is not dead. Well, not in the traditional sense. Nothing ever has to change.
Until the fragmented boundary between life and death begins to leak into another universe.
Stephen Strange first realizes something is wrong when he starts seeing reflections of people who don’t exist in his mirrors. He becomes certain when he finds himself speaking with the dead. And then, as if things couldn’t get any worse, a broken Loki from another universe appears before him, begging for help.
Which would already be enough to deal with, except now a man claiming to be from something called the ‘TVA’ has arrived, insisting he’s Loki’s friend and that the fate of the multiverse rests in their hands. So that’s how, Stephen, Loki, and Mobius end up on a journey to prevent a multiverse-wide incursion and the destruction of time.
