The universe has a wonderful sense of timing and Stiles and co. are thrown into all kinds of antics when the world goes to hell in a handbasket. Join them as they journey away from the security of their old lives and towards the hope of a new safety. Do they make it? I suppose you'll have to read on to find out.
This story is going to be slow burn, like that languid yearning we all know and love seasoned with well-ripened apocalypse angst. There will be spice in this tale, eventually.

Stiles thought that it was just crush, even more when he heard that Derek was with Kate at that time. But it didn’t stop him from thinking about Derek. It wasn’t later that he realised that his affection is more than just a crush. When Stiles realised that he was pregnant, he was confused, but ultimately, he was happy. He was happy that their baby is living healthily inside of him. But then he realised that for Derek, this baby is an annoyance that would destroy his career instead of a bringer of hope like it does to Stiles.
However, when they are forced to be together, Stiles could see that Derek is actually making an effort to make them work. Stiles make his mind up there and then. That even if they couldn’t be happily mated, at least his son would be brought to this world in comfort. At the very least, he could help Derek make peace with his families even if their own relationship will still be broken. But then Kate happened, and it broke him to pieces to realise that Derek would believe Kate over him, would choose Kate over him.

Unsure how long she had been there, Lydia heard a lot of yelling not too far from her. With an alteration in torture intent, the future of the pack changes. This is a 'what if' style of my story 'Rescue',' starting from the point of Lydia waking up and being rescued.
This is a more brutal and violent take on how things could've changed so much with just a few initial alterations to torture and things having been enacted sooner, like Chris and Peter joining the Sheriff's office as deputies.

Stiles knew that if he kept going down the road he was on, he probably wouldn’t make it past twenty. He was tired—of Scott and Derek using him when it was convenient and overlooking him the rest of the time. He didn’t want to be cannon fodder in someone else’s war anymore.
