Summary
John is very pleased with how much easier Sherlock is to live with post-wives, and babies that were not his, and lunatic sisters, and explosions. Pleased that Sherlock respects his requests and is making an obvious effort to be a better flatmate - a quieter, more reserved, more tactful flatmate, and a more polite, calmer, more controlled person in general.
John is very pleased.

"My apologies, Holmes, but the image of you attempting to navigate a ballroom floor unaided is rather comical."
"Comical indeed," he snapped, turning away to stare into the fire. "I shall simply decline to participate."
"And offend the Prime Minister and the Duchess of Devonshire?" I countered. "I think not, my dear fellow."
Holmes was silent for a long moment, his shoulders slumped in defeat. When he finally spoke, his voice was tinged with resignation. "What am I to do, then?"
I considered the matter for a moment before an idea formed in my mind. "I could teach you," I offered, somewhat hesitantly. "Here, in the privacy of our rooms. No one need know."

Summary
Sherlock manages to get a bad sunburn - bad enough that he will need his good friend and flatmate, Dr. Watson, to help him apply aloe cream, in between bouts of snark and misunderstandings. John will finally be confronted with the scars on Sherlock's back and the accompanying scars on his heart, and then finally be in a position to start healing both.
