Summary
When the bartender of their local watering hole hits Bucky and Steve up for a favour—play guide for his cousin and her colleagues in the forest for a few days—they probably should have asked exactly what the cousin and the colleagues intended to do in the forest before they agreed.
Turns out, the cousin and the colleagues are cryptozoologists and what they want to do is hunt down creatures that most people don't believe exist.

Summary
Viktor and Jayce destroy the acceleration rune together in the Arcane, but time seems to throw a wrench in that plane. Upon getting time literally thrown at them by Ekko, two plans of existence come dangerously close together, causing the men to be thrown into a different world at the same time their counterparts (in a more modern version of Piltover) are scrambling and reworking a them both into their new bodies. This freak accident may have been the peace these men needed as they explored their new world.
OR: Some weird ass physics shit goes on when Ekko bonks Viktor with the time bomb and two different planes of existence get scrambled and redone. One universe the boys are trying to figure out some physical anomaly and the other is Dark Souls. So, instead of dying like Christian Linke wanted, they just got divorced from the Arcane since these two men cannot have a normal relationship.
