Based a bit off the picture perfect arc, where Hanako doesn't exist but Amane Yugi does (in his place) . The seven wonders/mysteries dont exist and its pretty much a normal world. Kou Minamoto and Sousuke Mitsuba are third years in the middle school division, Nene Yashiro, Amane Yugi, Aoi Akane, Akane Aoi, Sakura Nanamine and Tsukasa Yugi are all first years in the high school division and Teru Minamoto is a second year. Then there's Amane.
Amane lives with his brother Tsukasa, and his legal "dad" Tsuchigomori, after his mom was shown to be abusive, neglectful, and eventually was arrested by CPS, and his dad abandoning them at the age of five. And he gets a job at a cafe for classes he'll have to pay for soon enough.
When Amane and Nene meet at their job, they both start having strange dreams. Dreams that are too realistic to be figments that their minds have come up with, too realistic to NOT be memories. And dreams where they seem to always be the same two people.

Kamome has been at a decent peace for the past few months, and Nene, Kou and Hanako have all continued to work and spend time together as usual. Unfortunately, this didn’t last as Nene had hoped, and Hanako had started acting incredibly strange and aloof—especially with the other school mysteries. Nene eventually found herself running into Tsukasa, whom she desperately decided to consult for any answers she could get. (Heads up: This all kind of takes place before around volume 9. This is an older work I pulled out that’s been around before the anime released a season 2 which I haven’t seen so I’m not sure how much of the manga it covers. Also, some things may be different canon-wise either on purpose or because my memory sucks, so bear with me lol!)
