Everyone thought Sandman was dead. Now that he's back, they're not gonna just pretend it was normal, even if he seems to think it was.

Original Prompt: Sandy came back. From the DEAD. When they all thought he was gone forever. And there was no real reaction from anybody other than a small "oh hey, welcome back" as if they'd expected it all along. Which, if they did, kind of made the whole "mourning" scene completely pointless and out of place. Granted, in their defense, there was still the whole issue with Pitch to take care of first, but still! I expected a bit more response to Sandman's return than what the movie gave us.
So give me everyone loving on Sandman after his return. Hugging, crying, threats of "don't you EVER do that to us again!", the works. And cuddling. Yes, there must be much cuddling.
Bonus if Jack is the first to realize it and does a tackle-glomp on Sandy
And if one of the Guardians Bunny tries to pretend they're not crying

“A cheeseburger isn’t some fucking mystical pomegranate, you smirking lunatic.” It isn’t, it just isn’t. Not even close. "You aren't even Greek!" he adds, throwing another wrench which is dodged just as easily.
Loki spreads his hands wide, posing like the showman he is. “I think you’ll find that a pomegranate symbolizes the fruit of the dead. Your cheeseburger, made of dead flesh, was topped with fruit. It’s close enough for the symbolism to bind.”
“Ah-hah! There’s no fucking fruit on a cheeseburger,” Tony says triumphantly, finger pointing accusingly at Loki. “I fucking win, no going back to crazy town with you. I stay here in my workshop, and you fucking leave before I call the Avengers.”
“Oh Stark,” Loki murmurs, almost affectionately. “A tomato is a berry, you ignorant fool.”

But Castiel is far less of a ‘thing’ than Dean expected. He might not be human, but he’s definitely a person.

Awesome fic writer and beautiful/excellent/gorgeous fanart by lizleeships!
This was absolutely wonderful and though I'll always trust this author's judgment, I still really appreciated the reassurance at the beginning that the angst wouldn't prevent a happy ending. Said angst (necessary to the storyline indeed) felt fairly brief for the most part and not hard to read through because of Cas' resilience and Dean's determination to help. Also, Dean actually giving therapy a shot = awesome. I mean, this fic had so, so much Destiel stuff that I love to read: creature Castiel, awesome fanart, sweet (mostly since some of Castiel's recovery was ouch, bless him) hurt/comfort, Dean not being bad at feelings, mental health appreciation, cabins and beaches, magic, soul bonds, Cas' handprint, excellent smut scenes that were truly meaningful...yes. The ending was so happy indeed! KUDOS

John felt the heart that he didn’t have stop. “What?”
“Once I realized it wasn’t really Parker, things started to come back to me,” Arthur admitted, and with every word John felt himself shaking more and more, until he thought he might scatter into shards. “It took a while to make sense of it all, but… I do remember everything now.” He sighed deeply. “It is me, John. I am your Arthur.”
John crumpled apart. The teeth that had been locked around him at last ceased their gnawing and fell away, but that left nothing to hold him in place. Relief so fierce it was agony poured through and out of him, until he felt small and shriveled from the heat of it. He could barely put conscious thought together, let alone speak. In all the aeons of existence he hadn’t experienced anything like it, and it terrified him. His joy and his shame terrified him.
“John?” Arthur reached across his stomach to where John’s hand lay shaking; he spread his fingers tentatively over the backs of his knuckles. “Are you all right?”
John latched onto him like a starved animal; Arthur flinched at first but then held still as John gripped him, trembling. “Arthur…” he said, but his voice croaked and tore apart, and he couldn’t get out anything else.
Arthur sighed, though fondly. He pressed John’s hand to his sternum, and while John fisted his shirtfront, desperate for stability, Arthur gently massaged the back of his palm. “It’s all right,” he soothed. “We’re all right, now.”
