I don't have a better way of explaining this except that during mepads dedication ceremony test tube thinks about if there is a way to fix mepad, and soon follows through with her thoughts but loses her own sanity from it.
This fanfic is specifically inspired by inanimate insanity s4 ep 5 in that one scene where the yellow team finds mepads dead corpse.
