Billy’s boredom has been an issue ever since he moved to Hawkins. Nothing seemed sufficient anymore. He would consider Hawkins the most boring town in the world, if only the weird and mysterious event of Will Byers disappearance never happened.
Maybe unearthing the mysteries around his vanishing could be his ticket to cure his boredom. But for that, he would have to grow closer to the kid, and gain his trust. -

Summary
Two years after the final battle in Hawkins, the war is over but nothing will ever be the same anymore.

He stayed behind so Eleven could live, so Mike could live, so everyone could be saved. Joyce Byers couldn’t. Grief took her life, leaving Jonathan hollow and bitter, a ghost forced to keep breathing. Just like that, the Byers family was erased, and with them, the version of Hawkins that once felt like home.
Mike refuses to heal. He refuses to move on. His mind unravels quietly, day by day, until he vanishes from everyone’s life, carrying the weight of a love he never got to acknowledge, refusing to bury.
