    Bucky is so competent that it hurts my feelings is not a rational complaint to have about a person, and yet, after a year of being Captain America and partnering up with Bucky for the new and improved, post-Blip Avengers, that’s kinda how Sam’s feeling.

    It’s not great. It maybe leads to Sam making some rash, ill-advised decisions like claiming he has a previously undisclosed superpower, and then getting caught in a web of lies when he ends up actually developing that surprisingly inconvenient superpower. Talking to birds had seemed like a harmless superpower, but it turns out that birds have a lot of opinions, and they don’t hesitate to tell Sam about them, especially when it comes to his supposedly subpar courting skills. Which is ridiculous, because Sam isn’t courting Bucky. Right?

    Miles "questionable morals" Morales needed to come up with a brilliant lie when his parents saw him with Peter. What did he come up with of course? That Peter is his uncle, specifically he's married to his Uncle Aaron. The look of shock on his parents face about finding out that Aaron was even married, much less to a man didn't help when Peter chose to go along with the lie. Now he and Aaron are caught up in a web of their own making as they continue to spin the web of a small lie that started all because Miles sucks at coming up with them.

    Dabi looks at Hawks batting his lashes, sitting on the couch in his hideous Gucci sweater. Christ, Dabi can’t stop looking at it. It’s a point of public safety that Hawks has a stylist for when he actually needs to leave the house. That sweater could cause car crashes. “I guarantee that won’t be an issue.”

    Hawks needs to come out, Dabi needs to promote his debut album, and they make an awful mess of this fake relationship thing.

    for when i'm desperate enough for something to do that ill start a 120K word fic while having severe problems with processing large amounts of text <3

    it took about four hours to reach that state of mind and roughly a day before i finished. im currently throwing up words while reading the hawks sequel because why is it 40K in a single chapter?? im gonna finish it eventually but i think im dying in the process my braincells are dying trying to actually read even a third of the words on my screen
