    Peter Parker had lost many people to the snap. His best friend, Ned. Happy. And his mentor, Tony. Now five years later, everyone who was gone had returned. But he was no longer the sixteen-year-old kid that they had known. Now he was a twenty-two-year-old. He wasn't a kid anymore. He didn't need the constant prying and judgment from everyone around him about his life and choices.

    He was fine.

    Right?

    Peter… wasn’t exactly sure how he’d gotten here.

    The room was dark, and silent, except for the repetitive thump-thump of a heartbeat from somewhere beside him. It sounded like the low beat of Mr. Stark’s heart, with a moment too long passing every second beat since the arc reactor had been removed. That, and the smell of motor oil and fancy cologne.

    His head throbs, and his muscles ache. He feels like he’s just lost a fight with a brick wall, or several. There’s crusted blood on his upper lip as well as his temple. He can feel it matted in his hair, and he wants nothing more than to take a shower right now.

    Looking around a little more, Peter realises that he doesn’t even know where they are. The room is nearly pitch black which makes it impossible to make anything out. He thinks he’s tied to some sort of cheap plastic chair; his hands are bound behind his back with a mess of rope and some thin metal handcuffs - so he assumes his identity is safe. No way whoever this was would leave him in just metal handcuffs if they knew he had his powers.

    Then, a huff of noise off to his side.

    “Mr Stark,” he blurts, panicked. “I think we might’ve been kidnapped.”
