Now learning how to harness his newfound abilities, the former miser must now prepare himself to defend the both the living and the dead, wielding the chains he cast aside to collect the rebellious souls who dare to harm either realm alongside the spectres who once guided him... with some unfamiliar spirits.
Needless to say, Scrooge has quite the journey ahead of him.

Marley saw the way Scrooge’s eyes sparkled while he talked with Isabelle. There was no denying it, but how he wished Scrooge would look at him that way.
At least he’ll keep Scrooge’s sparkling eyes in his life. He could live with that.
But Jacob watched them with a bittersweet longing as they continued their conversation, talking late into the night. He finally turned and left, hoping that Scrooge would find the same happiness that he had always wanted. The one he knew he could not have.
