So, when his brother, KU student Sam, tells him that his roommate is moving out and why doesn't he just make a fresh start, he goes for it. He quits his job and goes back to his hometown and memories that aren't always happy.
Lawrence is quirky, full of hippies and banjos and punker kids. But the food is good, and the music is better than he remembered. It’s nice, even if he is having trouble finding a job as a mechanic. When the handsome beekeeper at the Farmers Market with crazy blue eyes gives him free honey, he starts to wonder if maybe this really could be home.
