The others are all cool with it and in an attempt to show how cool he is with them Faraday mentions that he had sex with a guy once but then mentions something about how he doesn't know how Billy/Goody can stand it because his one time he was left bleeding/too sore to ride for days/some comment about how hurt he was but he obviously thinks is supposed to be normal.
Everyone kinda laughs it off but Goody/Billly are low-key horrified because they know sex isn't supposed to be painful. Cue them including Faraday for a night.

“Not as much as you are,” he said as Courfeyrac wiped his unnaturally sweaty palms against his jeans. “You need to at least act like you like Combeferre.”
“Oh, shut up,” he said. “I know how to have a fake boyfriend.
Grantaire snickered at him, but Courfeyrac looked over the top of the car and saw Combeferre giving him a reassuring smile. He took a deep breath and tried to reassure himself that he could do this.
Courfeyrac and Enjolras grew up next door to each other, with their families so close they might as well be related at this point. So when Enjolras's older sister gets engaged, Courfeyrac knows he'll be attending the wedding--which isn't a problem until it becomes clear he's supposed to bring a significant other to the wedding. Not having dated anyone in the years since his last disastrous relationship and unable to tell his mother why he's given up on romance, Courfeyrac does the only logical thing--he brings along his new fake boyfriend, Combeferre.

Ah yes writing a better analysis of a very angsty minecraft fanfiction about funky little characters being sad than my analysis on how a video made me feel, or how a chapter of the book for English class affected me, or gave me an idea.
God, i fucking hated those SSRs. Made me feel like i was being treated as a child *and* i literally didn't know what to say. I liked explaining and givung my analysis way more than being like "oh, i think tjis will happen," or "this quote gave me such a visceral feeling/idea that i want to do it in real life!"
I hated having SSR in 10th grade English class. Like, we're old enough to actually learn things instead of having to read books gor 10 minutes and write about a singular quote for 20 minutes. Didnt like the teahcer either. I was actually about to throw hands with her. My only liking is that she let us play on my classmate's switch and the good things session that could take up a good chunk of the class.
Didn't even learn anything from that class. Good riddance
