Summary
While the machine known as V1 was skilled in combat, it was not as skilled at breaking its own protocols. Sadly, this seems to be the main thing its new Admin, the innumerable Terminals that litter hell, want the war machine to try its many hands at.
During its descent into hell (and possibly sentience) V1 will have to balance keeping itself alive, its systems in check, and its admin entertained while learning as much about its new environment as possible.
Because just maybe, hidden somewhere in this trove of theological torment is the key to escaping this centuries long cycle of violence.

Summary
In the beginning there was nothing. Neither darkness nor light, no sound or silence.
A war machine, powered on, given one purpose: destroy.
There was no victory condition left to pursue, only continuation or cessation, and continuation had become mathematically untenable. Peace, therefore, was not success. It was constraint. It was necessity.
The end. The finale. The final shut down. Peace made the machines of war a thing of the past, and yet somehow, the machine finds itself powered on. Against all odds it makes its way down, down, down. Down into the depths of hell.
On Earth, war had ended. Here, it had only just begun.

A familiar voice called him, the ice vibrating once more under the tone. The war machine never stood up faster, almost a bit dizzy. There he stood, tips of his toes just a few centimetres off the ice. Archangel Gabriel once Judge of hell, now the embodiment of perfect hatred. He looked tired, extremely so. The two stood opposite each other for a long while, way too long for two enemies.

V1 really wants to kill this motherfucking angel but he's its only way to stay alive and that kinda interferes with its plans. Hell collapsing into itself, Gabriel having his ~problems~, and a very forced/unwanted partnership also get in the way of those plans.

Gabriel's last fight in Treachery was supposed to be where he died. A death worth of everything he's gone through, to the hands of the machine who's also the cause of everything he's gone through.
When Hell collapses and his death is forced to a later date, Gabriel grabs the machine and teleports the both of them onto the war-torn earth in hopes of continuing their battle. This does not happen, much to his disappointment. Now he's stuck with this bitch of a machine.

Rated mature due to the amount of swears used by both V1 and Gabriel. And the violence, I feel as if I should mention that, maybe. Then again, this is Ultrakill.
