Summary
Tommy H has been out of high school less than a year when he begins to realise that perhaps he'd been a terrible friend and person to just about everyone but specifically his childhood friend Steve Harrington. The earthquake in Hawkins only adds to this realisation, and while helping out at his old high school gym he sees his old friend again and is given the opportunity to attempt to make things right.
This story is told from Tommy H's perspective. The first chapter is a retrospective, and the second chapter will be the reunion and aftermath.
Like many of my stories this is pretty self indulgent.

This book is probably one of the best books I've ever read, not just as a Tom x Harry, but like, EVER. Genuinely.
This book is.... it's a masterpiece. One of a kind. There is no book I have read that was like this, and I don't think a book could be like this again. It is just... so insanely brilliant.
I don't know where to begin, really, in describing it. It's really to, honestly, aside from just finding new adjectives to say how lovely I think it is.
This book is fantastic. It focuses a lot on the characterisations of the characters, but also, most importantly, on their growth. Growth and redemption play huge important roles in this book, and it's done in ways that WILL make you cry. This book will absolutely make you cry and you'll be thankful for it. Devotion, love, loyalty, growth. All of those things. The concept of war and what it means if you're not that kind of fighter. Art. A bit of philosophy about art, which I personally love, as someone with a degree in art.
It's REALLY good. Genuinely. It's easily one of the best things I've read.
