Summary
Scott found his own name eventually, toward the end of the list, and felt something settle pleasantly in his chest. Macduff. It wasn’t a lead, but it had an arc he could sink his teeth into. He felt a small swell of satisfaction at the role. He’d take it.
He was still looking for other names—mostly out of nosiness, but also partly because he wanted to know who he’d be sharing rehearsal time with—when he found Martyn’s a few lines up. Banquo.
Every year, the college runs an end of year play. This year, it's Macbeth, and most of the Lifers manage to get a role, which only means chaos from the start. All Scott wants to do is get through his lines and ignore the weird feelings he has around Martyn.
One chapter will be posted every day as I have written all of them. This was supposed to be a long oneshot with the scenes but I figured they were better as chapters.

While they spent their lives fighting each other, these groups must team up to finally recognize who the true villains of this city are.

Summary
Pearl sat on a random roof in sector 23, which she wasn't even supposed to patrol, on the verge of passing out from exhaustion. She only snapped back to attention when she heard a familiar voice behind her.
“Didn't expect to see you tonight, Crescent,” said the voice from behind her.
Pearl turned around to see a face half covered with a mask with teeth painted on. The person was wearing a white tank top and purple baggy pants, contrasting bright orange hair done in two braids.
“Amethyst,” Pearl mumbled, grumpy because the villain showed up and she actually had to do something “What do you want.”

Pearls a hero, who works for the night corps to deal with the bigger villains.
But once she realizes who the night corps really are, and that someone close to her might not be who they seem, she starts to question everything shes known.

Summary

Jimmy should have known it was a trap, he’s not stupid.
I guess he was just being a little stupid.
Jimmy was blown backwards as TNT ignited in front of him, just below the ground.
The avian screamed in pain as he flew into a tree that had been many feet behind him, crushing his right wing.
His arms flew up, covering his face from the explosion, leaving his forearms covered in small cuts and burns.
Jimmy’s ears ring as he rests his chin against his chest.
His wings hurt so much, and the thought of moving makes the avian want to sob.
Small, pained tears fall down his cheek, falling onto his chest.
He’s going to need to wait until his health regenerates enough to heal his wing, he can’t move right now, it would hurt too much.
So Jimmy sits there, at the mercy of everything, and everyone, waiting for his body to heal.
