Kasimir is lying about his name, his history, and where he intends to take her.
Unfortunately for him, Rivka is lying too.
Somewhere between the Vistiani camp where they meet and Mount Ghakis, their carefully curated half-truths begin to sound dangerously like honesty.

Fuck… His palace? Then that means…
After Astarion claimed her for himself, she was then stolen away from him and she ended up all the way in Barovia. Now she was in the claws of Strahd von Zarovich, who is just as insufferable and insatiable as his reputation suggests.
Astarion is not going to give her up so easily however, but neither is Strahd. Her blood brings satisfaction and euphoria to any vampire who drinks it. The Dark Powers are furious with Strahd's happiness, no matter how brief.

The story of Sasha Ivliskova, wife to Strahd von Zarovich, Dread Lord of Barovia.
This started as a personal project for a PC of mine that I played over a year ago, but in the process of reading more about Sasha Ivliskova, I found a lot missing and a lot to be desired with a woman that is unique in the CoS canon.
This can be read for fun, especially since this is my own personal take while playing Sasha, but if you are dming CoS, this is also a way to use Sasha beyond her minor encounter in the crypts.The content of this fic includes info from Curse of Strahd (2016), Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft/Horrors Within, Expedition to Castle Ravenloft (2006), and a lot of story from I, Strahd: The Memoirs of a Vampire by P.N. Elrod. In fact, I would consider this a remix and a love letter to her version of Strahd. As such, there are a lot of canon changes that you are free to disregard or use as you see fit! I will detail specific changes after each chapter for clarification if you are interested.

Otherwise Known As: Writing My Own Damn FanficImrath is a lawful good paladin of a dead (newly resurrected) god stuck in Barovia with an unlikely destiny in hand. It’s not what he expected when he left his home to bring order to the world, but he finds himself forced together with a ragtag bunch of heroes (some more unlikely than others) under the thumb of a corrupted vampire lord, and DAMN if it isn't hard to keep up the good humor when shit is fucked, but he’s trying, man.
Somehow, he falls in love with a monster of a man along the way.
In The Interim is named as such beCAUSE it’s a fix it fic from my own IRL game that didn’t get finished. I fell too in love with the characters and the setting and needed to manufacture my own closure, so why not write a novel about it? Some things happened in-game, others I'm filling in after the game fell apart - it's all self indulgent. Enjoy!

This old, plain, blood-spattered manuscript can be found in crypt number 6, behind the stone pedestal.The first ten pages of the journal resemble child's copybooks, where someone diligently traced out, line by line, letters, then words, and then sentences — quotations from the hymns to the Morninglord.
If one scrolls through these scribbles, one'll see the beginning of a diary describing events from that historical period when Barovia was not shrouded in the mist. Unfortunately, the author did not bother to include dates. Most likely, she never intended to turn this notebook into a diary nor for it to be ever read by someone else. At first it is written in an uncertain hand, with many mistakes. As it goes on, the mistakes grow fewer, and the handwriting more assured and calligraphic. Toward the end, the handwriting again becomes less legible—not from uncertainty, but from how emotionally the words were written.
Strahd kept it as a trophy, but rarely reread it.
(What else is there to say exept "enjoy the homebrew".)

Summary
As a child, Ireena’s days were spent in the near-constant company of childish adventure novels, stories of knights and princesses, good and evil. Their simplistic narratives charmed her and she found herself curling up in any corner she could find, leather-bound covers cradled in her tiny hands. She pictured herself on those enchanting quests, clad in gleaming armor, as the knight sent to defeat evil and rescue those in distress. In her mind, she truly could rid the world of evil for good.
This penchant for childish justice often left Ireena returning home, covered in bruises and bearing a toothy grin as she regaled her family with her increasingly frequent tales of epic battles (childish fist-fights) for retribution (returned snacks) for damsels in distress (8-year-old children) from dastardly villains (10-year-old children). Her mother, weak as she was, would shake her head at her violently good-natured daughter, chiding her for being too rash, that issues could be solved with things other than fists.
