This is where I will post drabbles about my headcanon Newt Scamander and his many adventures.

In brief, my Newt is an adorable Disney Princess who adores his mother and activates cute aggression everywhere he goes, but whose overprotective older brother (and weirdly overemotional father) makes it very difficult to decipher why everyone he meets seems to either want to attack him or to avoid him.
First chapter is the day the Scamanders find out Newt's wish to be just like his mummy has had a physical effect.
Magic is wild.

Summary
Newt and Theseus have a complicated relationship with each other, as sibling do and I though I could make it worse so I added another sibling (Phasia Scamander). Now the siblings who haven't seen each other since their mothers funeral two years ago have to help each other survive Paris and then the rest of this war. But the issues with Grindelwald and even each other pale in comparison to the issues each of the siblings have with them selfs.

“You’re being childish!” Theseus snaps. “We have jobs and lives. Things we can’t just walk away from!”
“Oh well you walked plenty away from me.”
“Hip that isn’t fair–” Newt tries to cut in but Phasia gets him too.
“Oh don’t you start your worse than him,” She gestures to Theseus “At least he only walks away, you’ve run round half the damn globe to get away from this family.”

“You’ve been back together three days, and every single one you have managed to get hurt.” Leta glowers. Theseus lets out a tired laugh.
“That’s not true.” Newt defends.
“Yeah it is.” Phasia sighs.

“He’ll kill us both, it'll be fine.”

Stalking towards the junior auror that is shaking on the floor, Theseus barely notices that the man he'd hexed flinches away from him like he's one of Newt's dangerous beasts. He's too focussed on the young wix that had gotten hurt under his command. He watches them press a shaky hand to their head before asking if they're alright. Before Talwilk has a chance to answer, Theseus cuts himself off, "No, of course not- what am I saying, you're shaking like a bloody leaf. Can you move?"
Theseus is hit by a spell that turns him into a feral menace. Newt, as the resident creature expert and brother of said menace, is called in to deal with him. That is, after Theseus already bit a guy, of course.
