On a night out with friends, he unwittingly witnesses a drug exchange. Those involved are determined to shut him up for good. A hit and run driver leaves Merlin for dead on the roadside. Was it an accident? Or was this a deliberate act to silence him? As he lies fighting for his life, the chances of a full recovery are slim. Spinal Cord Damage could leave him permanently paralysed. But until he regains consciousness the doctors can’t be sure. When he does wake up, he initially has no feeling from the waist down. In time he could recover, but that would require intense physical therapy and rehabilitation.
