Merlin Emerson, a hybrid Labrador/Wolf Therian (or Shifter) leaves his small town in Texas and travels to New Haven, Connecticut to attend Wildwood Academy, one of the most prestigious colleges for Shifters in America. While there he quickly realizes that his destiny is about to catch up with him when he bumps into his mate, purely by accident. He's arrogant, rude, and rich, the exact opposite of Merlin.
Oh, and he's a Cat.
Merlin will find a depth in Arthur that he isn't expecting, but also something more: a home. Somewhere he truly belongs, where he can be himself. Is this what he was looking for all along? Is this going to last? He certainly hopes it's not some cruel joke of fate.

it had been a long time since uther died at the hands of morgause that fateful day. the day that morgana revealed she wanted the crown, took over camelot and became queen. however, her plans are thwarted when arthur comes back intent on revenge—only to discover that not only was morgana his sister, but she was under morgause's control.
after arthur (with the help from merlin) manages to defeat morgause, the siblings reunite and sort out their differences. arthur becomes king and camelot finally falls into a peaceful lull. no conflict, no war—magic is still outlawed, but morgana was working on it. however, drama still ensues in the citadel. arthur refused to accept his feelings and instead continued to court gwen. this put a strain on his relationship with morgana, who had been hopelessly in love with gwen from the start. can the siblings sort their feelings out and admit where their love truly lies?

the pendragon siblings are utterly pathetic when it comes to love. both morgana and arthur need to discover something so they can be with who they truly love. morgana needed to realise gwen's feelings were reciprocated and arthur needed to come to terms with the fact he loved a boy.

“No, I was thinking marrying off your Court Sorcerer might be a more effective strategy for gaining magical allies.” Arthur chokes on his own spit.
