Dick didn't hear the rest of the sentence. A long white noise had replaced Victor's words, his legs feeling like curd.
Bruce was getting married. And Dick didn't know anything.

None of it matters, so screw both of them, toss 'em in the bin alongside the rest of the broken toys—both of it can go straight to HELL as far as he cares. The only thing that counts is getting his hands on a decent cuppa, a damn tea; that's about it, and if that means abandoning the pretentiousness of the world, then so be it. Because that was what He always did. He knew exactly what was going down. Sat back, watched the whole bloody circus unfold. Only stepped in when absolutely necessary to keep the wheels of existence turning, then let nature take its course. Allowed people to march right off the cliff, heads held high, blinded by their own hubris. The world is meaningless.
Let the dominoes fall, piece by shattered piece, letting humanity stew in its own self-destructive juices, and you know what? It worked perfectly.

Mary in the meantime managed to get the Arcana Challis on the base however the portal device malfunctions as she is stuck in hell. Vergil on the outskirts of hell gets a revelation on UROBORUS as he meets Arius’ secretary clone and tells him to retrieve the arcana.
Basically a different take on NDMC season 2 cause why not. Love the show but I want to explore some other stuff as well

Jason Todd is obeying the rules. He keeps the family updated on his open files. He backs up the other heroes when called. He keeps his coms open and his trackers on. And most importantly, he doesn't kill inside Gotham's city limits. It's not even that he's bending his morals just to get along with the other Bats. Though that's a nice bonus. Jason is genuinely trying to heal and slaughtering criminals, as often as he's tempted, is generally not something a healthy young adult does.
But some cases are enough to push Jason over the edge.
When Jason takes on the protection of an abused woman who's hired Bloodsport to kill her mob-affiliated ex, he knows he's going to be in direct conflict with Batman, who's trying to bring the woman in for conspiracy to commit murder. Cut off from the bats, allied with Robert Dubois, and fending off the Falcones, Jason is willing to give up everything to protect the hurting family. Even if that means breaking everything he's worked so hard to build.

He was eighteen, all lanky height and a face that hadn't caught up to itself yet, and there was something in him—she had known it the moment she'd noticed him in the mailroom, the way he moved through that space like he was already somewhere else, like the mail room was a temporary misunderstanding the universe was going to correct—there was something in him that was going to be extraordinary someday. She was quite sure of it. It would be insufferable, probably. She was almost looking forward to it.
