Ilya hasn't seen Hollander since Vegas, and the first time they meet on the ice, months later, Hollander's playing is awful. Ilya's a Dom, a high level one, but as far as he knows Hollander's a Null, no designation. Doesn't need headspace. Doesn't Scene. Doesn't Drop.
But Hollander is Dropping. Has Dropped. And no one else seems to notice. So Ilya steps in without really thinking things through.

However, after school the next day, when she goes to visit them for their daily watering, there is one problem: All of the flowers absolutely REFUSE to go outside of their sunlight. Their encounter with the Knight has terrified them to wilting, and they have become overly involved with Flowery’s care. Ralsei, Susie and Kris now have to try to convince the flowers to come outside and spread their leaves. Flowery’s too kind to say it, but they’re all driving him crazy!

Florence realizes she doesn't actually like playing chess competitively herself because of performance anxiety, but Freddie thinks she just needs to push past it. Their complicated relationship with Anatoly, who is now back with Svetlana, continues at a distance. But fate will bring them all together eventually.
