Summary

Garrus Vakarian, while completing his mandatory military service, is stationed on a secret compound on Menae while the Normandy is being built. He is part of the military security personnel ordered to keep the compound secure and to make sure the mechanics play nice with each other. The placement given to him based off of prior insubordination, he finds himself constantly bored.
Zoji is a vextra, a new species that introduced themselves on the galactic stage ten years after the humans did. She is one of the mechanics building a frigate that has been designed by humans and turians, but also an undercover operative.
