Summary
So far, all forms of therapy had been unsuccessful. The Orb of Healing Light had tried to coax Bill into opening up about his childhood, his parents and the ‘2nd-Dimension Incident’, but he had refused to speak about anything deeper than his favourite food. Especially in group therapy, where Cipher either remained silent or continuously disrupted the other patients in the session. He was truly the most challenging patient they had the pleasure of dealing with so far.
Yet, a singular name continued to be mentioned within therapy sessions or in passing conversation. Often Bill cursed his name, but he was undeniably attached to this mortal, appearing to reminisce upon past chess games or torture. One thing was for certain, however. The triangle harboured an attachment to Stanford Pines.
This was something that The Orb felt that they could work with.
Or: A rather long Bill Cipher redemption fic that begins with him inside the Theraprism and ends up with him living with the Pines family.

Summary
I could wax poetics about this fic, but to be straight with both you and me, this came about because I had a brain-worm that kept nagging me to write this and so I did. Or well, am writing this. It's not finished.
So TLDR; This fic is my own exploration of Bill post-canon but in a world where he will at least try to fix what he has destroyed. He starts of being his triangular beauty in the start as I focus a bit on his time in the Theraprism just to set up some groundwork, before throwing him back to Gravity Falls in a meatsack of his own making. That's where the real fun time starts and where most of the story will develop.
Yes, this will involve at some point Bill and Ford getting back together.
No, it will not be pretty or easy. -

“I’m sorry… I’m sorry” was all he repeated as he did so, heat beginning to radiate off of his body, quickly getting hotter… and hotter… and hotter until the entire triangle burst into a ball of blue flame pushing back the creature and engulfing the triangle as it did so,
“I’m so sorry, mama, I didn’t mean to, I didn’t mean to, I just- I just wanted you to… I just wanted… to see… the stars.”
“Billy, I have a proposition,” the voice echoed again, “you go to earth as a human, you get some of your powers and I can grant you more as you begin to learn more, but I would like you to stay with your new friend… the scientist.”

After centuries of rehabilitation and therapy, its safe to say that no amount of councelling or treatment is going to help the person (or well.. being..) that Bill Cipher is. He's actually been proven to have gotten.. worse? With outbursts and random fits of rage.. he shows no signs of progression. Doctors are fed up with his shenanigans and uncooperativeness, many deem him to be the most difficult patient they've ever dealt with. Hundreds of years of therapy and countless therapists cannot help him, which leaves very limited options.
Either leave him how he is and say he's beyond being salvageable
or the only other option they haven't tried yet.

Summary
After getting his brother kicked out, Ford follows him out rather than letting him be discarded, hopping into his car with him and driving off into the unknown.
A few months into their forced roadtrip, the twins come across another pair of brothers, a boy around their age by the name of Bill and a younger kid named Steve.

Now working in the shack, and the Pines family coming back for the summer, he has to deal with Ford breathing down his neck, Dipper’s paranoid stalking, Mabel’s glitter-bombs, and Stan’s small chat. How fun. And to top it all off, the Axolotl sent him here to better himself, and he feels like he’s only getting worse.

The entity known as Bill Cipher has malicious intent, and nobody's quite sure why. It's the Axolotl's job to find out, which is proving far harder than necessary. He's hardly what anyone would call cooperative. He's arrogant and prone to making sarcastic comments. He diverts the attention away from him every time Axy is sure they're close to making some sort of discovery.
There's no payoff working with him.
But his story is very, very interesting. And they're determined to coax it out of his sick little head no matter how hard they have to push.
