Summary
Reader is midway through her Master's Degree, suffering from a lack of excitement. Something in her, some part of her, wants more. -- Where Reader is hired to tutor Morty and finds the more she needs in his strange, asshole Grandpa.
NOTE: I'm back after, like 5 years which is actually crazy to me. I finished my degree, I'm in my Masters now in particle physics (hence the minor self insert) and I'm SO excited to be writing these again. To anyone who read any of my original works, I love you!

Summary
A sequel where reader is a Master's student who met Rick tutoring Morty. This is a reader/Rick Sanchez fic with a lot of smut, a lot of heartache, a (hopefully) good amount of depth, and also (hopefully) a good mind fuck! A sequel to Growing Pains! Some questions from the previous fic are answered and some are not. You don't have to read the previous fic for this to make sense, but it might help/be more enjoyable that way. I'm bad at summaries (: The art for this fic is up on Deviant Art, my user there is spaceiscool2000

Summary
A straw house can't weather a storm, and redirection can only distract from a cracked foundation until the wind blows.
Reader and Rick go through some mild and necessary character development. Devastatingly slow burn on this one but it's worth it, I pinky promise. If you're into the 80 pages of pushing at pressure points until one of them breaks, you'll love this. Continued plot development is definitely there, just later than usual. The third fic in the Growing Pains series! (I'm still bad at summaries).

Summary
Reader moves into Rick's basement as Rick Prime presents a new threat to her life. Rick's goal to kill Prime is kicked back into high gear, while reader struggles to stay trapped in his lair.
A fourth edition to Growing Pains! This one is a little different, the writing style is slightly modified, and it's a little heavier on the mental anguish. Again, reading the ones before this might help, but you don't necessarily have to! This one is a lot less smutty and a lot more... twisted. Some questions are answered, finally! I'm still really bad at summaries!

Summary
You knew it was only a matter of time until Prime found you and took you away from Rick. You'd been right.
This one is incredibly painful. It was painful to write, and I'm hoping it will be equally as painful to read. But yay, the fifth of the series! Thanks so much to everyone following along! (I think I'm getting worse at writing summaries, somehow).
The art for these stories is on my Deviant Art at spaceiscool2000

Your decision to come home to Rick was easy. Living through the logistics of it, and finding damage beneath the surface you were unaware of, was far less easy.
Rick is sweeter (for now), in this one! I'm still terrible at summaries. Part six of the Growing Pains series! The art for this fic and all the others will be up on my Deviant Art, Spaceiscool2000 !

Recovery is a long road. What's that saying? One step forward, two steps back? Are they sure it isn't five?
My summaries are still bad. Just read it, if you like the series, you'll like it. Some shit goes down in this one. Lots of new people, some re-occuring people, and a lot of alone time with Rick Sanchez. As always, the art for these is on Deviant Art on my account spaceiscool2000

Why spill all your secrets when distraction is so much easier?
This one is a little different, again, the pacing has changed again, and there's a lot of character building and (some) development. Chapters are longer, but there are less. It's also very, very NSFW, so if that's what you're here for, congrats! I posted some (also NSFW) art on my DeviantArt: spaceiscool2000 so please feel free to check those (and the other art for these) out there!

Summary
The biological processes required to speak aren't complicated. Mammals have vocal chords. Birds have sryrinx. Some bugs and fish use stridulation and swim bladders, respectively. By that logic, it should be easy, shouldn't it? Two words. Right there on the tip of your tongue. And yet, it was silent.
Trying out something new for the summary, since I can't actually summarize these without giving spoilers. The ninth edition to this very long series! As always, the art for this is or will be posted on my DeviantArt: spaceiscool2000 - thank you!

Summary
In medicine, you’re taught how to fix a wound. Cauterize. Sterilize. Clean. Stitch. Monitor. A process, like any other, with documented, expected results. In theory, the wound should heal. In theory, things should get better. So why, with stitches, with cleaning, with cauterizing, with monitoring, does the wound keep splitting apart?
The tenth fic in this very long series with no end in sight. As always, the art for this one will be posted on my DeviantArt: spaceiscool2000 -- however, fair warning, there is not much art for this or the next two fics. Thank you!

Summary
Every system has a failure point. There’s a threshold for every structure. A final ounce of pressure. A measurement so slight it shouldn’t matter. You can tell yourself that it’s small, that it doesn’t affect the structural integrity. But when the system fails, and the components crack under the weight, there’s no point in arguing over what is already broken.
As I warned previously, this one isn't a particularly fun read, however, it is also shorter. This is the 11th fic in a very long, and still very much ongoing series. Again, there's not much art for this one, but I'll post what I have later on. Thank you!

Summary
The best things in life come without a grand opening. No sweeping gestures or sudden, dramatic shifts. Instead, they come with quiet hands, persistence, tired voices, and eyes that no longer flinch when they meet. The mess was still there, dented and stained, but smaller. Manageable. It came in fragments and things left unsaid, and for once, it was enough.
The twelfth in a very long, very ongoing series! Finally, a fic that isn't doom and gloom, which I think we all needed. It's a little different, and shorter than usual again, but a very necessary edition to the series. As always, the art, if there is any for this fic, will be on my deviant art at Spaceiscool2000. Thank you!

Summary
Not everything is an adventure. Not everything, as long as he isn't involved. Fortunately, for the time being, you've learned to keep it episodic. That's what they all say is best, isn't it? - A journal to prove it can, in fact, be episodic sometimes.

Summary
Some things, we learn to heal in time. Others, we shove down, and wrap layers of pleasure to distract from the moldy mattress beneath. Keep your eyes above the blankets, and everything will be fine.
In the nature of keeping things episodic, this is part one of a two part summer subplot, in this very long running series with no end in sight! As always, the DeviantArt for this work is Spaceiscool2000.

Summary
Summer heat means sweat. Sometimes, removing the blankets helps. Sometimes, you take them off just long enough to stare at the mold underneath, but when the sweat dries, and you grow cold again, you put the blankets back on.
Remember how I said these weren't plot heavy? I lied, sort of. Part sixteen in the very long, very much still ongoing series! As always, art from this is up on the DeviantArt, spaceiscool2000.

Summary
Space is impossibly vast and impossibly large. Every direction you choose leads somewhere different. No single path shows you every star. Sometimes, the hardest part of moving through space isn’t leaving where you were, but accepting that where you go is bigger than the people who convinced you it wasn’t.
