Summary
Stories were told, heroes prevailed and villains failed.
At the end while the good was enjoying the happy ending, a greedy King who had been falsely claimed a hero knocked their doors.
He wanted to do many things but the most important ones were these:
Banishing the villains to an isle with no magic and no freedom.
Banning magic.
Some agreed and some disagreed.
Eventually, it didn't matter as the king got what he wanted: A black and white world where he was in charge.Too bad for the King that he was not a good learner.
A tyrant doesn't get a happy ending. That's the lesson he failed to grasp.
Ironically though, it was another tyrant who set the events that would lead to his downfall in motion.

Summary
The stories of Mal and the other VKs are supposed to be seperate from Red’s story. But what happens when they aren’t separate? What happens when Ben invites all five at the same time?
With time travel taken out of the question, a looming threat and hopeful promises hanging over Red’s head, she has to race four other VKs to the Fairy Godmother’s wand. If she fails, well, it’s off with her head.
It would be easier if her perfect princess of a roommate stopped trying to be her friend.

Red thought it was nice sometimes—the quiet, that is. She never got much silence back home, not with her tyrannical decapitation machine of a mother constantly screaming about some new issue or problem or minor inconvenience. Night was the only time she got for truly just herself, to think and feel and be. (Really, though, was the thinking worth it if it was just circling rambling anxieties?)
