Ben's first royal proclamation was to give the children of the Isle of the Lost, a prison for the enemies and villains of Auradon, a new chance. You guys were innocent, a second thought or perhaps not thought of at all when your parents did their deeds of wrongdoing. You deserve a shot at a normal life away from the Isle, among the rest of us. If this tester stage goes well, we can expand the program, invite more kids. Full inclusion of both lands.
You are free to decline, of course, but for the future generations of Isle-born children, I think you should consider.

Carlos really has to believe that there'll be a light at the end of the tunnel, otherwise he doesn't know if he'll be making it out alive. Going to Auradon might be that glimmering shred of hope that Carlos has been hoping for, he just has to survive until then.
