Summary
Arthur, Merlin, and the Knights of the Round Table must travel to the Isle of Mona, invited by the eccentric royal family to help teach Arthur about governing a kingdom where magic is a free practice. As a condition of Morgana's surrender the ban was lifted in Camelot and Arthur asked Merlin to learn magic so he had someone he could trust to help him govern. Merlin has been playing the struggling apprentice for months, learning everything he can and pretending not to already know it all.
However, when they land in Mona, all the magic users recognize Emrys and treat him as such. Merlin is forced to confess all to his king and the knights, who agree that until the treaty is signed and they return home, they are going to have to act as if this is all normal. Cue shenanigans, tournaments, worshipers, and more secrets than Arthur knows how to deal with.
The story is a slow burn and a lot is going on, Merlin is polyamorous and Arthur decides he can live with that. This is my first long story, I will try to update often, let me know how I am doing! -

Summary
Gwaine knew Merlin meant well, so, Gwaine left him to his secrecy.
That didn’t mean he wasn’t curious, of course. That he didn’t watch Merlin closely when he favored one side over another or came in with a bandaged wrist and an absurd story of tripping over a barrel. Gwaine couldn’t deny that the desire for answers didn’t chew at his fingers every time they fell in together, tracing over bumps or patches of rough skin that felt uncomfortably similar to scar tissue; even if, as promised, he never looked to confirm it.
Gwaine tries to put it out of his mind as much as he reasonably can. But between the two of them, Merlin had always been the better liar.
And that’s exactly what worries him.
In which Gwaine makes a lot of discoveries, just in an odd order.

Summary
Arthur and Merlin have a special relationship. They always have, even when they were prince and servant. While many question it when first noticing, eventually it becomes an understanding in Camelot—and even among some other countries—that where there is Arthur, there is Merlin. And, where there is Merlin, there is Arthur.
OrArthur and Merlin's relationship as witnessed and explained by others.

Summary
Generally speaking, Uther did not tolerate his nobles meddling with the servants. It was more because he thought such behaviour beneath his courtiers rather than out of any regard for the safety and happiness of the castle staff. Still, the King did not have eyes everywhere, and his various lords and ladies took the view that what Uther didn't know couldn't hurt them.
That was how he found himself here, pinned into an alcove in one of the hallways by Lord Bancroft. The cold stone of the castle wall dug into his back as the lord's body pressed against his front from shoulder to hip, all hard muscle and harder... other things.
Merlin is propositioned, Arthur intervenes.

Summary
'What happened to you?'
Merlin grimaced. He must look worse than he realised for Arthur to sound like that: genuinely aghast, as if he thought Merlin might collapse at any moment. It wasn't that bad. He'd wiped the worst of the mud and blood off.
'Gaius needed herbs.'
Sometimes all it take is a little tender loving care to shift the balance of friendship into something more.

Everyone knew to never wake a sleeping Omega.
So, when Arthur glanced up from his stack of scrolls to find Merlin curled upon the floor and asleep within a pile of his sweaty tunics, he straightened and tensed as if bestowed a rare and sacred quest.

Summary
“What did you do now Merlin?”
“Got cursed.”
Merlin slumped into the room and fell onto the bench of the table across from Gaius, laying his head dramatically on a book of something or other Arthur didn’t bother to look too closely at.
“Cursed.” Gaius echoed, unimpressed.
“Cursed.” Merlin sighed back, like some kind of weepy maiden.
“He can’t lie,” Arthur supplied, walking further into the room and standing behind Merlin, pushing his head off the book roughly. Merlin squawked and glared at him before shaking his head and turning back to Gaius.
"It gets worse."

Summary
Arthur is confused, very upset, and nothing is alright anymore, thank you very much.
Because you see, despite the image that he tries to present—emphasis on the word ‘try’, there, according to his knights—he does care an awful lot about his people, especially his one particular person that happens to be able to say an awful lot without saying anything.
Merlin. He’s talking about Merlin, in case you hadn’t noticed.

Summary
Arthur, for all rights and purposes, functions well. He's smart, and strong, and he doesn't need help from anyone. Then after a cold night on a camping trip he discovers he's a snuggler and has no idea what to do with this information. Is he touch starved? Quite possibly. Maybe that's why his bed feels so cold without Merlin.

Summary
"You cannot be serious," Arthur growled at his knight.
"Aw princess what else could we possibly use truth serum for?" Gwaine chided smiling. As if there were not a thousand other more practical uses for such a thing.
Beside him Morgana and Gwen were smiling, around the camp his other knights also seemed amused. Only Merlin looked hesitant, well, he and Lancelot, who were trying very hard not to look at each other and failing. Neither seemed excited about the idea. Arthur would not admit it aloud but their collective appreciation was the catalyst for his resolve crumbling.
"Come on Arthur! I finally got the potion just right, I want to see it in action." Morgana pleaded.
Her magical studies had progressed under Guias’s watchful eye ever since Merlin had talked her back from the ledge and Arthur had signed a treaty legalizing magic in Camelot. He did want to encourage her studies, and more so he wanted to know what the looks Merlin and Lancelot were sharing meant.
He groaned. "Fine. We will play your silly game, how does this potion work exactly?"

Summary
Gwaine had gotten him a flower, which didn't sound like much, but when you added in that he'd snuck into the royal gardens to gather one for him, it made it much more sentimental. A kingdom's royal gardens are tenderly cared for, filled with the best flowers that only royalty received as compliments of beauty.
There was no doubt in Merlin's mind that Gwaine was entirely aware of all that.
[Or]
After being cared for by Merlin while he recovers, Gwaine finds himself with feelings for the servant and is making foreign romantic gestures to court him. He also finds himself extremely protective of Merlin when two knights suddenly take an uncomfortable interest in Merlin.
[Set in s3e4 "Gwaine"]

Summary
After centuries of waiting for Arthur’s return, and the ancient king showing no sign of resurrecting anytime soon, Merlin decides to turn himself into a stone statue and wait out the remaining years in a semi-conscious state. He places a charm upon himself, making it so that he will change back once Arthur returns and finds him. A plaque on the statue’s plinth reads as much: “Whoever holds dominion over this soul of stone / Need only touch it to turn it to flesh and bone.” It becomes something of a must-try in the city, and despite thousands of people interacting with the statue every year, no one succeeds in turning him back into a human. That is, until one day…
