Jiraiya barely registers her words because the moment of realization hits him like a kunai to the head. That’s it! He’s got it!
He can see it playing like a movie as the metaphors and literary themes piece themselves together in his mind. He puts his hands on his hips and stares out into the distance, proud to put his newfound inspiration to good use. “I’m going to try my hand at writing yaoi.”
OR: One sunny day in Konoha, Jiraiya finds inspiration from his student's students and decides to turn Icha Icha into a queer trilogy. Obito thinks his books belong in the trash but they make Kakashi happy, so he’s forced to suffer through them. Little does he know, Icha Icha is loosely based off his lived experiences.

Obito is early for once in his life— and yep, that’s a senbon needle piercing straight through his jacket and into his bicep. There’s no antidote for the poison Rin laced it with, but at least it’s a non-lethal serum. No, the most lethal part about all of this is the fact that Kakashi will absolutely chew him out when he sees him like this.
Were the training grounds always this… wavy?
Or: Just a few days before the Kannabi Bridge mission, Team Minato falls victim to a much less tragic domino effect. Obito gets high, Kakashi laments the fact that he’s gay, and Rin finds out a lot about her teammates.

Summary
The blood won’t wash off. It never does, and it never will. As the Hokage’s right-hand man, Kakashi has shed enough that he knows he’ll never see the Pure Lands. If he actually does, Obito will never let him live his failures down.
So who is this masked man that keeps swooping in every time Kakashi is so close to death, he can taste it?
Whoever it is doesn’t matter. Kakashi will continue to protect his comrades, even if he can’t atone for the scum he is. He will keep Obito’s will alive. He will make sure they see the world together.

“Mmm, that hit a sore spot, didn’t it?” Ice clinks against Shindou’s glass as he swirls it around casually. “I don’t blame you, though. Like I said, I’m a jealous man too, and you aren’t the only one here who wants something they can’t have.”
OR: Izuku Midoriya and Yo Shindou are on a mission to make GROUNDRIOT break up so they can have a piece of Katsuki Bakugou to themselves. Unfortunately, nothing ever goes according to plan.

Obito learns this isn't common practice across the Elemental Nations when he's sent on a long-term mission to Rivers. His goal is to locate and confirm the identities of the Fire Country omegas being kept as slaves in Tani's breeding barracks so that one day soon, they can bring them home.
He doesn't expect to find someone there who he long thought was dead.
OR:
Obito is sent to Tani as a stud, and finds Kakashi among the village's breeding slaves.
