The cage cracks open, and Luke's leash extends just enough for him to carry lost children through the dark. But Olympus hasn't forgotten its hatred, and the Light burns with old grudges. Luke is supposed to stick to his duties, but that’s the problem: when a call echoes out from San Francisco, the forbidden West his father repeatedly warned him against, he should have just ignored it.
But since when did Luke ever listen to the gods?

I’ve noticed I’ve written enough fics set in Ancient Greece that I felt like organizing them in one place. They’re not continuous; the only thing they have in common is the setting. This includes the Trojan War, the Athenide AU, the Hermogenes AU, the Odyssey, or any other Ancient Greece AU really.
The ratings range from T to E. Some are lighter and others are much darker (Disturbing Themes aplenty), so beware and read the tags before reading.

As the energy in his body continued to return, Yuji was able to list his other hand for comparison. The fleeting hope that this was some illusion by his addled mind or a trick of the light dispersed the moment both limbs were in front of him. His other arm possessed scales as well, mirrored almost perfectly. A single, hesitant touch from his shaking hands confirmed that they weren’t merely ink or paint upon his skin.
These traits, they weren’t normal.
They weren’t human!
“What h-happened to me?” Yuji stammered, choking as the impending wave of panic. His own eyes felt as if they were about to fall out, unable to remain still in his head while his vision flickered about for answers. His heart and lungs sought to match such untamed mania, but before his blood pressure could rise any further, a deep voice spoke out to see that his body returned to a state of calm.
“Steady yourself, and I will explain it.”
❤ Yuji could have sworn he died. Then again, if he had died, he wouldn't be around to contemplate it, now, could he?

The man sitting at the desk is stony-faced as he doles out assignments. Sakura obediently shuffles forward when it is her turn, and recites her shinobi identification number in a shaky voice when asked.
When the provost marshal looks at her, looks down at his paper, looks back at her, and grimaces, Sakura knows it’s not going to be good.
