They started this journey together. Spent it together for a third of their lives at this point. How will he do this without him?

Katsuki stiffens, bitterness creeping its way up, inevitable. "Hm. Sounds familiar."
Izuku's brow quirks, a blank expression masking over.
Katsuki just chugs the rest of his beer, exhaling when he finishes. "Sounds like Deku."

“What if it’s not about that?” He asks, using not even a fraction of his strength to slip the two of their positions so Katsuki is now trapped under him. “What if I want to take care of you?”
or: Katsuki's arm is flaring up, and when Izuku finds him threatening to murder a carrot he offers to help, then spends the night taking care of him in more ways than one.
