May and her boyfriend kick Peter out of the car on the side of the road in another state in the middle of the night. It’s freezing cold and Peter doesn’t know where he is or how to get home. He can’t call May, Ned isn’t home, and the only other number he has belongs to Happy, who has explicitly told him not to call him unless it’s a life or death emergency. And hypothermia isn’t an emergency, is it? Is it??

Peter calls Happy, he yells at Peter for calling so late at night, and Peter breaks down. Happy and Tony feel guilty for not looking closer in the two months since Germany and realizing that Peter needed help. Minor fluff at the end with a hopeful ending. Unfortunately, he doesn't really have a choice.
