I have completely lost interest in this story for now. I will not be finishing it, sorry to those who have enjoyed it so far :(
If I gain interest in the future i'll consider finishing it, though!Hero and Kel Hernandez, brothers with a tight knit bond, had always lived a normal life in Faraway. Hero, the dashing young adult everyone knew and loved, was set to become a doctor in his future, in his second year of college, and his younger brother, the dorky underdog, had dreams of becoming an athlete, despite the humbleness of their town. Together they were like peas in a pod, often hanging around town with their friends Aubrey and Basil.
However, things would turn on their heads when a new and strange family moved into the house next door, which had been vacant since the brothers were both children, mysteriously pale Sunny and Mari Zhao, siblings with a similarly close bond to Kel and Hero. Who are these newcomers, why are they here, why do they rarely leave their house in the daytime?
And most importantly... why did Hero feel so soft and fuzzy around Mari?
