Sunny only wanted more time.
Unfortunately, his brilliant plan to delay the recital involved sneaking into school at night, sabotaging the music room, accidentally starting a fire, leaving Mari gravely injured, and taking the blame for everything like a twelve-year-old with the survival instincts of a tragic protagonist.
After four years in juvenile detention, Sunny returns to Faraway Town expecting guilt, awkward reunions, unresolved trauma, and maybe some well-deserved yelling.
Instead, he finds out that The Pink Demon runs the Hooligans, The Orange Hurricane leads the Orange Dudes and keeps appearing out of nowhere to challenge him like a recurring boss fight, Mr. Bossman somehow controls half the town through the Bakers and their bread-based diplomacy, the Sweet Pinks have turned candy and gossip into political weapons, and the Florist knows way too many secrets.
The beginning is serious, prison-adjacent, and a little longer than planned. My bad.
After that, Faraway Town becomes everyone’s problem.

Summary

He always knew.
His parents didn't seem to care about his well-being, nor did they seem to notice the damage to his fingers. The blisters remained like a scar, a constant reminder of his struggle.
His group of friends was the only thing that mattered to him and the reason he fought to keep going, but since he had been practicing to give his best for the recital, they hadn't had time to talk to each other—and it wasn't as if Mari wanted him to be distracted from the recital either.
Sometimes, he wished he had never been born, or that he would die the day before the recital so he would no longer be a nuisance in his family's life. Even if his parents didn't want it, it would make their lives easier; and although his friends loved him as one of their own, by messing up too many times, he ended up ruining everything with his friendships. He had nothing left.
If he had died, everything would be happier...
However, one had to be careful what they wished for.
Perhaps... it could come true.

Summary
This is a passion project I've been working on ever since finishing Omori. I really enjoyed it and wanted a lot more, especially of the real world sections. I also felt like some of the characters (Hero, Mari and Basil) weren't fully developed or expanded. Plus I just wanted more content! The main changes are:
- 4 days left, not 3
- There are chapters that take place in the past (lots of Mari screentime, plus kids being kids!)
- A lot more real world things
- A few slight changes to Headspace
- Sunny speaks
- Switching character POVs
- Some more horror and also more slice-of-life chill scenesSticks closely to canon, just with my own spin and scenes.
FYI, Chapters 1-4 are all complete canon, the new additions however are Chapters 5+Remember, all warnings for the game apply here!! If a TW is not specified in the game, i will mention it in the notes

He's rebuilt his relationships with KEL, AUBREY, and HERO. BASIL is a work in progress. He's grown a bit, as he's been eating more, but still has habits of not. He harbors feelings for AUBREY, but doesn't express so.
