Summary
Kind of continuing off of the 2nd comic, Fair Game while being inspired by a Tumblr post about the next comic book idea.
After the WORST night's sleep in existence, Dan wakes up on the cellar floor of Amity Mall, right next to Danielle. He decides that taking more then the "recommended" or "safe" amount of ibuprofen is the better move for the splitting headache he has.
Then both fellas decide to get lunch at the food court in the mall, only to notice odd shadows being casted above them. They look up to find that the entire mall is underwater. There are fish swimming above their heads as seen by the skylight over the food court.
Dan still feeling groggy from the pills he took, whips out the pill bottle to reread the warnings while Danielle drags him around out of excitement and worry about their new underwater adventure.
Meanwhile, Danny is dealing with a team-up duo between an old powerful foe and a new foe. Whether Vlad can help him with this fight is... questionable.

This is an inspired work of fiction that I am using as writing practice. I have been sending it *exclusively* to my best friend, but I thought it was too amusing not to put out there. That said, do not take this too seriously as some parts are written badly either intentionally or because I need to practice accepting imperfect writing/wording. My goal is to update once a week, so considering I am nearly 50 chapters in I don't think that will be a problem. If there are some things that look like a joke but you don't get it, it's probably an inside joke that's either between my friend and I or it's a local thing. I absolutely have incorporated actual people into this work (said friend included). Again, the only audience I am really taking into consideration when I write this is her, so many of the references are for her amusement specifically, if not for my own. That said, I was like 9 when Danny Phantom came out, and I had a HUGE crush on him back in those days. I would have been 11 when the show ended, so I would consider him to be older than me since he was 14 in the show, making him at least 3 years my senior. In that respect, my liking for him is age appropriate. This is as the subtitle says: a teenage dream.

“Thanks,” Phantom accepts tentatively. He’s not looking too much worse for wear this time; the tears in his suit are already closing up, and the minimal bleeding under them is slowing to a trickle. His knuckles are flushed green with use, but his face is mostly clean. “I just wanted to be sure you got away okay.”
“Yeah, I’m- I’m alright,” he repeats. “How are you?”
Danny laughs and shakes his head, the bright sound out of place in the darkening twilight and the air still smelling of ozone and ectoplasm. “I’m fine, Dash.”
Then he steps back, already trading his legs for a tail and beginning to float away. “Stay safe out there,” he pronounces, just like last time. And with that he’s gone, fading into the distance faster than Dash can track.
Everyone asks who is Phantom, no one asks how is Phantom.
