No more of that. It was time he took the reins.Or: Apparently, being the Master of Death has it perks. After dying Harry gets offered the chance to go back in time and change things by Death itself. After defeating Quirrell with the help of the greatest-pain-in-the-ass-of-all-time Merlin himself, Harry had much time to practice and make a few plans at the Dursley's. Only for him to realise, that plans are kind of overrated anyway.

“Girl.” He near enough whispered taking the back of Merlin’s wrist into his palm and drawing it up to meet his face. He inhaled, still with no exact location of the smell. Moving up Merlin’s arm across his face as the other looked on dumbly.
Reaching the pit of his elbow Arthur stilled, there is was, the fragrance laid upon Merlin’s inner forearm.
He pulled it gently closer, wanting a deeper inhale before confirming and reporting back to the other. He was indeed correct.The trouble was Arthur had regrettably misjudged the space between his own face and Merlin’s skin. Causing his slightly parted lips to brush ever so gently across Merlin’s forearm. Sending a jolt through both men at the feeling. Neither acknowledged the graze but they were effected by it nonetheless. Arthur’s heart rate sped as Merlin’s stopped completely. Four sets of blue eyes widened.
They were both too stubborn to speak. Meaning they sat in purgatory for quite some time, feeling neither comfortable nor uncomfortable. Something strange shifting inside of them as the sun began to set over Camelot.

Merlin floundered for a minute, mouth opening and closing as he processed that this was indeed Arthur Pendragon at his door. The same Arthur who last he saw Merlin, had told him to call when he was ever sick of being pathetic so he could beg for his job back. And Merlin made a vow that he would never work for him again, no matter how desperate or broke he became. He would never stoop low enough to beg the Pendragons for anything. Merlin felt the same rage he felt back then ignite back into his gut and he straightened, not caring if this prat was bloody dying. He went to close the door, but Arthur stopped it, jaw clenched.
"Hey...!" He cleared his throat, clenching his jaw for a second. "I... need somewhere to stay. And you're... poor right? I can get you your job back." Merlin scoffed, pushing harder on the door, but Arthur was still stronger.
Damn him and his ungodly workout regimen.
