newamsterdam - HaikyuuNo one really knows much about the new surgical resident, Doctor Iwaizumi, other than the fact that he's married. Suga's determined to find out more, and make a friend of him in the process.
A beautifully written set of fics, in an AU that has so much action and life. I absolutely adore these fics, and if I am whipped for how well IwaOi is written in them that is My Problem and mine alone. I love a good hidden-relationship-revealed fic too, so really this is just an amalgamation of awesome components wrapped up in a shiny silver bow, and I love that for me.
A set of future-fic stories in a Medical AU, featuring Dr. Hajime Whipped-zumi and his sweet bouncy husband (feat. DaiSuga and KuroKen, which just makes it all the better tbh).

Don't Talk To Me Or Any Of My Fourteen Children Ever Again
meregalaxiesandgods - HaikyuuUkai Keishin was not—and had no interest in becoming—a father. He’d somehow become responsible for fourteen children regardless.
Honestly this is probably one of my favourite Haikyuu gen fics to ever exist; it's so soft and sweet and I just love them all so much, and this fic does such a good job of detailing why I love them so much. The way this fic handles with the insecurities and problems of each team member, along with the varied range of them, means that it can bring comfort to many; I related so hard to a couple of them (coughdaichicough) and it sort of brought me a second-hand comfort too. There's also the solid fact that Ukai as a pseudo-parent is legitimately gold. It's just perfect.

Peter nodded in response and turned to walk back to his desk, ignoring the feeling that he was walking to his death sentence.
He fought down wave after wave of nausea as she plugged the flash drive into her computer and scrolled through the files until she found the one that he titled ‘Hero Project.’ Neither Ned nor MJ even knew what he had done for his project. He had refused to tell them out of fear that he would lose his nerve.
Mrs. Davis casted her screen to the projector in front of the board and pressed the play button.
There was no going back.

Oh my god—
I just LoVe that one-armed Jesus part from HISHE cause I laughed at that vid!
And this will definitely go down with some tears shed at the end cause AU Tony got to hear JARVIS once again when they just had Vision since AoU 😢
Overall, absolutely love this fix-it cause we get to have the stuckony trio ship all together and healthy- who are helping the MCU!Avengers sort out the mess that is CW, IW, & EG……
Wish I could read a small novel about this or a sequel; ending with the au versions having happy auras all around by the time they jump back to their own universe. And have stony, stucky, WinterIron, or stuckony sail with them too ofc!

This was a wonderful Stony fic that you’ll want to read if you’re into that cliché romantic love story we all know and adore~ The lovely gradual way they fall for each other and near-death experiences that makes them emotionally compromised and miscommunicate lmao
But just because it’s cliché, doesn’t mean it’s not unique in its own way! I love how this was done and executed well, and how I was practically drowning in cotton candy in the ending!

But it's also a really important story to have told, one of identity and defining oneself outside of just one thing, of finding oneself when what you thought you were is taken away. Maybe I relate too hard to Oikawa in this, having sort of been through a similar situation (though at least Kawa had an outside influence to blame), but seeing him be okay in the end of this fic, and figuring himself out, was a really big comfort to me.

This may as well be my favorite Peter Parker field trip fic in like- ever! Because it’s so SO well executed from the school administration and Mr. Harrington not believing Peter’s internship, Tony and Steve barging in in all their blazing glory as the owner of a Fortune 500 multibillion Company and a Co-Captain of the World’s Mightiest Heroes, Peter getting a wonderful mature pep talk from Clint about standing up for yourself and getting the respect he deserves, everyone’s constant praise towards Peter’s achievements, how Peter professionally handled a Code Indigo situation, ANDDDD the awesome action-packed scene with identity reveal!
Seriously- like everything was so well done and I stand here knowing there are hundreds and probably thousands of different takes on this overused trope but I never get tired of this one- not ONE bit!

Based on a prompt in the SteveTony discord server: Steve had thought of Tony as a friend. Actually, one of the best friends he's made in the future. Then he hears Tony telling someone that "it's okay, he's over Steve, that's ancient history now" and suddenly his worldview is flipped. Tony had been into him, maybe in love with him, and he hadn't noticed? But everything's okay, because they can still keep being friends as they had been.
Somehow, this doesn't make him feel better.
