Summary
All Mordred wants - all he's ever wanted - is to be close to Emrys. Although they see each other every day, he feels that his goal has never been further from his reach. Emrys is coolly polite, but it is clear he does not trust Mordred. His smiles and jokes, so readily given to the other knights, are not for Mordred.
He doesn't understand why; until he does.

Or: a conversation with Emrys sets Mordred down a path to earn his idol's trust, change his destiny, and return magical freedom to the lands of Albion. He's determined to do all three, or die trying. -

Summary
Mordred never meant to be knighted while being a teenager. It just sort of, happened. Yes, it was against the law to be a knight and be under 18 summers old, but that wasn't Mordred's fault. On top of that, Mordred was much more than a simple 15 year old.
With Morgana back in Camelot and everyone happier, Mordred can't help but think something will happen. And, something does in fact happen. After an incident in training, everyone finds out about Mordred's true age. After that, the people around Mordred find out more and more about how much Mordred has truly been hiding from them.
Things that all of them wished they could fix.

The knights of Camelot (+merlin) find out that Mordred is not even 16 years old. They are not amused.
Now, Mordred is being treated like a child by everyone around him. But after he's been through... maybe it's for the best?
