Apollo was having a perfectly good morning- right up until he vomited down the side of the sun chariot. Which was incredibly strange, if you asked him, because gods simply do not get sick.
As if that weren’t strange enough, an unintended meet-up with Percy Jackson in a Target parking lot revealed that the demigod was hearing prayers- something that Apollo was actually not responsible for, despite what Percy seemed to think.
Apollo didn’t need his prophetic powers to know this was going to be a looong day. But hey- at least he got to spend it with Percy. (Which, naturally, improved things considerably). -

Despite the support (to the best of their abilities) they give, Apollo still feels crushed under the weight of grief, and a little bit of anger, on the anniversary of his death.
So he tries to start something with Boreas as a distraction from his emotional turmoil, but things go awry.

Apollon has been sheltered his whole life, kept trapped on Delos with his mother and sister. Omega's have no rights, they belong to their fathers until they are sold off to an Alpha, Beta, or Enigma. Apollon's whole future was planned out for him, from his mate, to what he eats everyday. That is until he and his sister are summoned to Olympus by their father. Everything he thought he knew about the world, about his life, and who he is changed.
Leaving his family and the safety they provided was either the best thing to ever happen to him, or the worst mistake he has ever made.

If you asked Apollo what he has been feeling lately, he would reply with a simple 'nothing'. That word meant no emotions and all of them at the same time - he felt dissapointed in himself, he was scared, teriified, he wanted to scream and shout, run away. A normal person would tell their family about those feelings and recieve professional health. If they were adult, they would probably not even tell their family if they had a good reason for that.
Except Phoebus Apollon wasn't a normal person - he was a god. And even among immortal deities he was quite unique, orginal and queer (in all meanings of the word). So instead of seeing a therapist, the first thing he did was go to Sparta and see the place where he accidentally killed the love of his life.
EDIT: I can't put this as a tag for some reason but... Somehow, this has turned into a revolution fic. I have lost control over my own fic.
