Their letters, terse at first, grow longer as the days pass. Before long, each wizard confesses their secrets and their fantasies, their wishes and their dreams.

Can't stop smiling. :DDDDDD
Wonderfully snarky and sweet, with casual little bombshells of humor sprinkled throughout (I can't count the number of times I had to stop reading for a minute because I was laughing too hard [ETA, 2 years later: Still. True.]). Lovely slow-burn, great character insight and development of two people who just don't quite fit with everyone else until they find each other. They build a very solid friendship with great chemistry before things get romantic.
Also, PLOT. Draco runs a tiny museum (out of Grimmauld Place, which he has purchased), and it gets attacked and ransacked for some unknown purpose. The big resolution... did not see that one coming. Dude. Also, Kreacher! House magic! Mystery! Etc!
But really this is so gorgeous because of just how wonderfully, beautifully odd both Harry and Draco are (especially Draco) and how they come together like puzzle pieces because of it (and, especially in Harry's case, finally learn how to become a real person instead of a lonely empty shell). It's not always easy, but they get there, and Lord, it's worth it. I feel like I just drank a bucket full of sunshine and joy. :)
Possibly one of my favorite depictions, ever, of both Draco and Harry.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. I loved this fic. It’s perfectly paced and the relationship between Harry and Draco (and Harry’s general obliviousness) was so spot on. I love the way Powerful!Harry was done in this and this was just the BEST house magic EVER. Harry’s relationship with an EXTREMELY emotional Grimmauld Place was one of the best parts of this fic, and that is saying A LOT especially considering the high high high quality sex scenes. Like some of the best magnetism and linguistic lusciousness I’ve ever read. The heaviness of this fic adds depth but not too much darkness to this world. Ron and Hermione are just SPOT ON. And holy fuck VIRGIN!Harry just like murder me this fic is so good.

This is a really great and unique take on the traditional bonding fic. I felt like truly every member was very in character, with both their flaws and positive qualities), and it was their personalities that drive the conflict and the plot along. Lots of pining, lots of lack of communication, lots of boys being stupid and so so so much pining you might actually die. It’s very rare to find pining fics they include still payoff throughout, so that was nice. Perfect Hermione and Ron, non-romanticized Narcisaa and Lucius, and adorable Ginny subplot. The boys are very dumb, but in the end, the love is so achingly real that it’s all undeniably worth it.
