Summary
Aloy has been an outcast her entire life, and with that life outside of the tribe she has only spoken to one other person, has only interacted with wildlife and the machines that have taught her just as much as Rost.
When it is time to run The Proving, Aloy loses the only man she's cared for. While on a path of vengeance, stories soon begin amongst the tribes of a hunter with hair of fire, and silent violence, and soon Aloy becomes known only as a folktale across the lands, but she does not mind that, she would rather be feared than revered.
Thankfully, The Tenakth see her as more of a person than a supposed chosen savior of the world, or a famed killer of bandits and cultists. To them, she is only Aloy, Daughter of Ullia.

Summary
Aloy wakes up in Meridian alongside the Sun-King Avad, not knowing how her got there. Together, they will experience adventures and emotions that will form strong bonds between these characters.
This story takes place after Horizon Forbidden West, but before Burning Shores (I hadn't played the DLC when I wrote this fic). It contains references to previous games and DLCs, so I recommend playing them beforehand.
The story is perfectly understandable without having completed them, but if you know the games, it will help you better understand the workings of this post-apocalyptic world.
I have focused on delving into the psychology and development of the characters based on what appears in the games and past experiences that have marked them in such a way that they lead to who they are currently, which I have elaborated to fit the context of these characters.
⚠️ Of course, contains spoilers that could reveal important parts of the plot of said games.

La petite équipe d'amix qui s'est formée autour d'elle compte bien faire en sorte qu'elle se remette en question et accepte que leur relation ne soit plus à sens unique : Aloy doit accepter que les autres soient prêt à tout pour l'aider, tout comme elle le fait elle-même.

In the ELEUTHIA-8 facility located in those mountains the Volnar find a young girl with hair like fire and freckles like the stars they worship.
Chosen by the Elders, but scarred by destiny, she find herself travelling the world after her life crumbled. But when her and Aloy's fate bring them together, their identical appearance is unnerving.
With a mystery unraveling that even GAIA has limited knowledge of, they find themselves in the forbidden west among the Tenakth and the threat from the skies. A key is found, and a fate uncertain. A being and another find each other, and something more than what allies should feel brews between them, united by their differences and similarities alike.

Away from expectant eyes, he preferred to spend his time amongst ruins of the Old World scattered throughout the land. The world was much different a thousand years ago before the fall of their era, and Ed loved any history he could gather from recorded data, voice memos, and holograms.
A recorded holo of a curious man from hundreds of years ago caught Ed's attention. The man was always full of hope and wonder, entrancing Ed with his love for life and the world they lived in.
Ed had made it his duty to uncover more about the Strange man's life. Catching feelings for the holo however, was strangely a hard thing not to do.

The last thing Varl expected when he finally caught up with Aloy, Anointed of the Nora, Savior of Meridian, was that she was carrying a child on her back. Like a real infant baby, strapped to her back in a makeshift carrier, painted in Nora colors and all.
“So, uh,” Varl gestured vaguely to the baby on her back. “Who’s this?”
A long pause.
“His name is Isaac.”
“Isaac?” That was a strange name. It didn’t sound Nora, Carja, or even Banuk; Oseram maybe, but he wasn't sure. The fact that the name didn’t sound like it was from any culture he knew from seemed to add to the mysteriousness of this whole situation.
“Yeah.” Aloy nodded curtly. “My son.”

One spectacular catastrophe later, the group is separated. Now Aloy, Seyka, and Alva must find a way to get back to GAIA and Beta before Nemesis ends life on Earth once and for all.
This is a direct sequel to The Missing (a few weeks after) and my take on the possibilities in Horizon 3 that no one asked for! If you haven't read The Missing, you might want to but it's not completely necessary to know what's going on.
